For exp for the battle between Bruce and Irene- You can go ahead and calculate it yourself. Didn't follow "super" closely along with the battle, and given that you guys didn't update your sheets... Use a multiplier of x2 (keeping in mind the "default" multiplier is, for now at least, another x2, so 4xlevel in total) for each pokemon, half xp gained for pokemon that were not knocked out/conceded or conceded at above 50% hp. You can ask me if you have questions.

I should probably note that Alex's charm roll is both to convince the woman of his honesty and to convince her to tell him about aura guardians.

Re: Trinity Isles OOC
You guys should get in on that action while Alex is somehow still alive. Free mentoring can be pretty beneficial, much as I complain about everyone getting the benefits and making me less directly significant.

Natrivv, Sam, are you two managing with distributing that exp yourself? If you properly update your sheet to reflect your HP at the end of the battle, I can do it myself with little issue- And that will make it easier for me to determine what your guys state is if I end up inevitably throwing you guys in a random encounter.

I'll update my hp, but I've been lazy about doing the xp calculations... I'll get to them soon-ish... I promise

Updating my HP right now, and I will get to the exp either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Hmm, so really only practical during timeskips, which I don't see happening any time soon.M0rtimer wrote: ↑Thu May 10, 2018 6:11 pmNet crafting: When crafting nets, count 60% of the original value for cost. So that means for a 200 HP hand net, assuming you'd manage to roll about a twenty every time, it'd be about a ten hour task...
Are you able to take a net with less HP and work into into a higher-HP net? Could I take an 80hp net and work on it until it's the 150hp one?

Re: Trinity Isles OOC
So the only thing Alex may have a hope at is probably the shooting, with a rank 3 in combat (HOW?! I guess it was a prerequisite for something.), but since that's still pretty bad let's risk losing the ticket to see what happens there.

Re: Trinity Isles OOC
I think the large increases in price between the different kinds of net could only be explained by it being made of different materials, so probably not? (My thought process being that lowest level ones would be made from just rope, while higher levels would be some form of finer, but much stronger synthetic fiber)SuperVaderMan wrote: ↑Thu May 10, 2018 6:43 pmHmm, so really only practical during timeskips, which I don't see happening any time soon.M0rtimer wrote: ↑Thu May 10, 2018 6:11 pmNet crafting: When crafting nets, count 60% of the original value for cost. Although, you could say that, with being able to craft the nets, you just craft the weakest net as needed each time you need it, the only drawback being that it'd be easier to outright break and escape. (Although by the same logic, I'd also allow repairs)
I'm gonna say that Alex is smart enough to know that'd probably be a bad idea, given how putting in a ticket there would only result in it dispensing another ticket, assuming the ticket is even heavy enough to trigger it.

Re: Trinity Isles OOC
Better nets could also involve a finer mesh or the same material but woven together for more strength.
I figured feeding it the ticket could result in nothing, and would probably only result in getting another ticket, but could also result in a "Wow, we didn't think anyone would actually try something this stupid" reward. Considering Alex's stats? Odds were as good that there'd be a secret trick as that he'd succeed in a challenge.
Since you're saying that outright, though, it's the shooting challenge I guess. The thing Alex isn't terrible at.
Combat: 14
Turns out the blind guy is a goddamn sniper. Y'know what, I've got 3AP left, I'm not gonna need that stuff, let's spend one for another +2 and bring that check up to 16, because why the hell not have blindman be a lethal weapon.

Alright cool
So who wants to set the stage for the meeting place? It sounded like Sam had something in mind. Some kind-of pizzeria?

Re: Trinity Isles OOC
I suppose I'll continue Koa/Irene/Bruce's update at the small restaurant like I said before, then? Kind of annoying, since that still kind of relies on Bruce being able to converse...
Then again, I suppose I could just do what I had planned to do AFTER talking, before it.

Re: Trinity Isles OOC
Nothing that can be done about it, I guess. If you have something in mind then we can control Bruce until Sam shows up, and talks can just happen later.
