I think Parchment looks fine the way he is. But Tarol's never going to be happy with the 2D version. Tarol not happy with his art = Tarol keeps redrawing it forever = longer time between comics. So I voted for 3D.

I'm no longer on Twitter, but IMO readers are always going to have to do a certain amount of interpretation on their end to figure out what characters really look like. Like I've only ever seen goblins' front or back, rarely their sides, so I have to figure out for myself what shape their heads are - the same for when BE's head ends and his ears begin. To that end, just knowing Parchment is a cute paper dragon is enough to get me to imagine their "real" appearance.

I can't access Twitter, so if someone who has the ability to vote but doesn't care to wants to weigh in, my vote would be for the 2D look. I don't know why Tarol thinks it looks bad; I think the entire point of Kin having a pseudodragon is lost if it's just a normal white shoulder dragon, whereas one that's made of living origami is totally unique and fascinating to me.
I don't have twitter, and I'm assuming it's too late to vote now anyway, but I do prefer the 2D version as well. If Parchment becomes 3D, how would he have fit through that crack just a couple of pages ago, in order to get the attention of MM and the goblins?
But I'm also fine with the idea that Parchment can "refold" themselves as needed, according to the situation or whatever. I think that should have to take them some time, though, so Parchment shouldn't be able to instantly switch between 2D and 3D.

@Thunt_Goblins wrote:These are simplified versions of the characters that are just vague guidelines for the animation design team to consider. Although there's a good chance that a few of their heights may be slightly adjusted for the animation, this is the official character heights for the comic
The spelling error in Minmax's speech has already been pointed out on Twitter.@Thunt_Goblins wrote:You may notice little inconsistencies, like Big Ears missing his Prissan symbols on his armour, or the fact that Minmax didn't have that outfit when he'd gotten his purple eye. These are not changes that will be seen in the series. Think of these as temporary, simplified icons.
Hmm, to me it seems the size difference is not fully reflected on
this page.
Size Forgath/Size Kore on page: 12mm/14mm = 0,85714
Size Forgath/Size Kore in tweet: 39mm/52mm = 0,75
(measured with ruler on screen, disregarding shield of Kore)
So, either Kore is too small on the bridge, or Forgath too large, or there's a perspective influence which is not signalled on the page.

I see no discrepancy, Forgath is up to Kore's shoulder in both images. The same can't be said for Kin confirmed for keeping low to the ground to hide her tail and
Forgath's time on Minmax's back.
Edit: Minmax caught a bad case of blob-digits from stomping on the hands of South Park residents.

So, let's post them here for those not following his twitter but interested anyway:

I'm glad Tarol is getting to make a module, but why the Well of Darkness? It's probably the single most generic of his dungeons. Give us the Maze of Many!

Well of darkness would be easier and faster to do, guess if it goes well the MOM would be next. Quick question tho Is there a set schedule for his comic or is it just as and when it's ready

He is tweeting designs of demonic humans. Maybe the characters will find a village and see how the demonic corruption of the world is affecting the population?

Thunt started to publish some doodles regarding Pride Month (June has been elected as the LGBTQ Pride month).
And ended last evening (at least I assume it was evening for him) with a rather impacting news, a new artist who will work on GoblinsComic.
But let's go chronologically, since start of the month:
(also, sorry for the large post [I spoilered the images, to reduce post length])
(For anyone not recognizing the flag's meaning: it's the transgender pride flag (and I hope I'm precise enough in my naming).
(some tweets about laser hair removal treatments - just gonna skip those until someone tells me to include them as well)

This brings up all sorts of questions for me. Well actually it all boils down to one question.
Will this mean more frequent updates to the comic?

I would not know, only time will tell.
Depends on time rquirements for treatments as well, I would guess.
But acknowledging the issue at least should prevent (or reduce the risk) of another meltdown/burn-out.

On one hand, I never trust feelings that begin after a Twitter account is made. On the other hand, regularity of work output is an indication of a healthy mind. That her tweets aren't of the "insane contrarian psycho" variety is nice.

I must confess, me neither.
At first I was also rather reserved about this coming out.
But if this is a joke, it would be one leaving a bad taste.
Further, Elli told her parents in law (Danielles parents).
They're in their seventies, and rather conservative.
A report of how it went can be found in this
twitter-thread.

Ellipsis Hana Stephens. Ell or Elli is fine. ❤️
Ellipsis... because that is a name I've used for years in online gaming.
Hana... because that's Dva's first name (Cheesy, I know. I just love Dva so much).
Stephens... Because that's
@DragonTurtle's family name.

It's not a joke. She's talked to professionals. She's taking hormone therapy. She's had laser hair removal. She's planning on having surgery when she can save up for it. Her voice on the phone sounds distinctly higher and more feminine. She's got trans pride flags all over the place. She's happier and more productive than she's been in ages. This is who she is.

I'm a little lost on what you mean. It's the same account, she's just updated her handle to reflect her preferences. It's still the same account I've followed for years.
