LAYF, I'm so sorry about what happened to your wife. I hope she'll get better very soon and there isn't any permanent damage. Just in case the updates resume any time soon, though, I'm posting this in here, too.
Somewhat important note (see my signature, also):
I'll have only limited Internet access from 27th Oct. to 1st Nov.
I will try to keep on reading and posting here, and in all my other games, but if it looks like I can't make it in time for any updates, please let the co-players vote for my char's actions and/or put my char in semi-intelligent automatic mode. (i.e. not have them stand around drooling when hostiles approach and get killed by inaction.)

Round 60
Skips, tries to get close to the statues, but some how, she moves in sync in both "her" bodies?
She must really thing about how she moves around , so for now, she heals herself and examines the spikes, they do look really sharp and pointy, but there does not seem to be any kind of trap or magic about them.... except that they had been summoned somehow, but from this plane, so they cannot be dispelled...
The rat keeps trying to climb the walls.. maybe they are to smooth for good climbing, because it does not seem to get any progress!

Whether he decides to give Koughs the stone or not, afterwards he tries to dash up to where Skips is now(Using his shield to protect himself from the lightning), to see what he can do to figure out what's going on.

Well it's name sais Maro's fire will protect you from the shadows that threaten... I think it may be used when entering the shadow land full of shadows... Il trade you the potions of liquid fire for it if you want to, and you can have it back if it wont do anything over there.

Skips tries an athlete's approach: less thinking and more doing. She jumps straight into the air. If that works, she tries to run. If that works, too, she tries to run and jump over the spikes, ending up near the statue(s). If that worked out, examine the statue(s).
If jumping/running/Running&Jumping doesn't work for whatever reason, move back to the ladder(s) and climb back down.
Bites exercises jumping. Trying to find out how high, how far, (s)he can, with and without running beforehand.

Ma'amin casts "Resist Energy: Lighting" on himself, than he goes and picks the key of the statue and walks up the ladder, staying on it. (Not going to the next floor!)

Vote: Ouch tries to reset the trapdoor as a nasty surprise for any incoming future threats that have to relying moving on the ground, but he'll make sure not to fall in. (If he DOES, cast levitate on himself.)

Round 61
Sammael hands Koughs his red magic stone before dashing up the stairs! he makes it nearly all the way up the second ladder.. and then "ZAAAP" a lightning from the statue hits him! thanks to his shield, it is only knocking him down from the ladder! no real damage happened!
Koughs revives the stone and concentrates... POOF! she is gone!
Skips takes a more forward approach, doing some tests, she notes that both "her self" does the exact same thing.. so she tries to make an athletic jump, aiming for mid air "AUUCH!" she miss judges her jump, having 2 sets of senses to comply to, luckily, she is not much wrong, and "only" opens up her leg from the hips to down below the knee.. somehow avoiding every major vein! only taking damage, not bleeding further
Ma'amin casts a resistance spell on himself, before going over to take the key from the statue, But Ouch already have taken it! so instead he climbs the ladder, staying down from the lightning!
Ouch meditates and reaches full energy!
POOF! Koughs is in the shadow realm
"Why hello little one... we were wondering when and if you'd come back! oh, look out!" one of the demons from befoer says, just as a shade rises close by!

Kough's readys his red arm, ready to rip the black thing to shreds if it attacks, or closes in. "Ok my horned friends, mind telling Kough's some things as Kough's fight this guy? Like what this stone Kough's got dose, what those marks on the floor below Kough's is, or how Kough's move the blue lines. Do tell Kough's all of those things."

Vote for Ouch: try and reset the trap door over the pit, so if any hostiles (that can't fly or float) come through that door next turn, they have a nice surprise waiting for them. Secure himself first as needed/possible. (e.g. use rope to bind himself to the ladder, so he won't fall into the pit himself. If no rope or similar available, use spell - e.g. levitate, or telekinesis to reset the trap - instead.)
