Sluj's scimitar contributes to dismantling the corpses, stuffing its face whenever possible. ((I'm going to assume the scorpion's too big to drag back too.))

Miasma will try to drag the scorpion corpse back through the portal.

((Give me a strength check at disadvantage. This thing is as big as you are, but long and leggy. You still need the carapace mostly intact for any of you to use it. You will have to make a random encounter roll even if you get back to the tower, so to some degree it's a bit of a wash whether you rest here and take forms, or go back first. It was just particularly tough last time, because so many of you had lost or hopped out of your assumed forms.))

Miasma spends a few minutes nudging, and manages to get the creature flipped over once, but it's a long way back to the portal.

<<This form is badly injured.>> Gomz glares at the scorpion. << I will take THIS one's form as payment.>>
He sluffs the pig form and starts working on the scorpion.

Underslem eats it's fill then wanders around and listens and watches for more food master.

Perception: 1D20 = [19] = 19

Random: 1D12 = [12] = 12

Sluj will just be working on dismantling the corpses so they're easier to handle, then resting (it's down to like 3/21, so time for Hit Dice. Correct me if I'm wrong, but looks like goblin boss has 6 - d6 hit dice, yeah?)

Hit Dice 1-3: 3D6 = [1, 4, 3] = 8
Hit Dice 4-5: 2D6 = [5, 3] = 8
Leaves the goblin form down just 2hp with one hit die left.

Gomz releases the form of the giant boar, the gelatinous structure oozing across and dampening the sand. After a few minutes, the sand begins writhing as beetles burrow up in search of the moisture, swarming over the boar remains.

A few that arrive late begin seeking out easier moisture, a few heading in the party's direction.

How big are these beetles?

Normal to slightly larger than normal sized. None bigger than a halfling's fist.

Dex: 1D20+2 = [19]+2 = 21

The one thing that Sluj excels at: eating things.

Sluj pounces on the beetle and grabbing it from behind, chomps into it before it can bring its mandibles to bear. He chomps through the abdomen and is soon picking his teeth with one of the legs. Not bad at all!

As beetles come his way, Sluj eats his fill.

The fluid of Gomz shed form consumed by the beetles and sand, you spend some time resting and recovering, and your party is joined by Gomz in his new form!

(Miasma will try to heal.)

5d10 = [10, 6, 5, 3, 2] = 26 So it’s boar form would have 27 hps.
