Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Aye, or seen round a corner through a mirror or something So by RAW, yes I'd say so.
But as always, it's up to spider if he wants to modify it with you in some cool way or if he interprets it differently.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Not finding much in terms of other ruling, but since other spells that allow transport of other creatures explicitly state that, so I'd say Shadow Step does not. Other stuff may be on case by case, but you're not going to show up naked unless you want to.
As far as taking stuff with you, I'd probably treat it similar to what a druid is able up merge into their self as the wild shape. So would likely be size/weight/attachment limited... A handful of gems? Sure. A bridge support beam? Nope. A baron's fancy hat? Sure, if you can grab it off him. A boulder blocking a tunnel? Nope.
"That you can see" definitely means you can step through keyholes, windows, and the like, as long as they have proper lighting. If you can get a visual on it and it's in range, you should be good. Might ask for an extra ability check on a mirror jump... Roll a 1 and you pop out on your head...
+Edit: Shadow Step is still 6 levels away for you, so possible my interpretation will change by then. I'm likely going straight through to 6th level monk with Korrik in Thinks game, so if I hit it before Randy, how she handles it may influence my approach, though we seem to have a similar opinion at the moment.

Didn't Maji lose 19 hp in his brown bear form and have 15 left? As I've read the wild shape rules they replace is current hp rather than act as temporary hp. So I don't think his dragonborn form hp should be added to his protection from sleep.

Ah, yes, I hadn't recorded the damage he took after bearing out again. He's down.

But it's entirely okay to become a bear and attack him with hostile skeletons right next to him

And you claimed to be a servant of the thing we just killed also you had a new ring and now you dont, but somehow managed to summon enemies to the camp in the middle of the night. I'm not ruling out that you've been cursed quite yet.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
The ring was visible the one round where you all woke up so I doubt you saw it, as the rest of the ring activity has been alone. I even considered showing it to you guys but that might not happen now
You are also looking at it the wrong way.. I summoned valuable xp! Have to admit that claiming to serve him might have been bad PR for a weak hope that I could send them the other way (or is this just the excuse I use now?!)

Party members he trusts:
Randy, Tess, Coljin
Party members he's indifferent twoards:
Ulmwin
Party Members he doesn't trust:
Holger, Zephyr
So no, its still surprisingly longer!

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I'm getting confused. Didn't Nem see him play with it while he was attuning? Sorry if we discussed this already, I've forgotten.
Edit: what are the metal bars? Also, Coljin scooped up the ruby dust from earlier too so he could use it as a spell component.

He attuned during his watch, so it's not common knowledge, as he was alone.
Metal bars are gold, platinum, etc.
Yes, also ruby dust.

Ah yeah we did talk about it. I was imagining the bars were like iron rods or something, but gold etc is much better
Ok, well Nem is still angry, but just because she thinks H is a reckless idiot; not because she's overly suspicious.

Yeah, and the whole spending months in his room doing... Something secret. But she's got her own secrets, so she's maybe got a little more patience than most in that regard.
The dangerous recklessness is getting old though.

Randy has noted enough odd behavior to be suspicious. Holger can be impulsive, but usually not so much to put everyone else at risk. How Holger responds is going to determine what Randy does next. Holger is being tested now....

I hope Randy can take stuff with a grain of panicked salt, as Holger is trying to explain himself while being assaulted by a bear

Holger is tripping over all sorts of red flags for evasive, suspicious behavior now.

Sorry, been rather busy over the past couple days. The conversation between Randy and Tess is in private, right? Ulmwin's probably just shaking his head at this whole mess right now.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Yeah, it's private for now, but only because she doesn't want to get holger in worse trouble with Maji. The tiefling stuff she'll probably tell you all about fairly soon (especially if someone asks about the night vision...).

Ulmwin's always rolled terribly in each "suspicious" instance I'm pretty sure, so he's still clueless right now.
