This is the Trinity Isles OOC thread and trainer roster.
Homebrew rules
Leveling
Every 5 levels, you gain an additional feature above those you would usually earn.
At level 25, you may take up a 5th class if you so wish.
Battling
If conceding a pokemon, that pokemon only grants full experience to the other player if it is below 5% HP.
Facing an enemy but not defeating it grants 50% exp.
Injuries
*Pokemon do not take injuries at the 50% HP mark. They continue taking injuries for massive damage and0HP and every 50% under that.
*Starting from 4 injuries, trainers and pokemon take a hit to a random combat stage per injury, removed when the injury is healed. The regular effects from badly injured are shoved back to 6 injuries.
Pokecenters
Pokecenters will restore trainers and pokemon alike to full health for no cost. Additionally, they provide methods to aid in the recovery of injuries for both trainer and pokemon.
Pokemon can restore up to three injuries per day in the healing machine. This usually takes around half an hour, (though may be lower or higher depending on the pokemons current HP) plus an additional half an hour for every injury cured.
While the pokecenter does not provide methods to instantly heal a trainers injury, they provide services to aid in recovery. Based around the number of injuries a trainer has, a measure of options is presented- Or taken by the pokecenter.
1+: The trainer is offered to have a bandage applied, healing an injury over a period of three hours. These may also be bought separately or provided to be applied.
4+ injuries: The trainer is offered to stay the day/night in the pokecenter, recovering 1 injury for each four hours spent (abiding by daily limits) up until he has at most two injuries left. Each injury removed through this method costs 250. (One may shorten this to 1 injury per 3 hours if paying 300 instead)
6+ injuries: One injury is instantly removed, costing 500, before spending an extended rest as provided in 4+ injuries.
League challenges
Healing items or other consumables are not allowed in league events. The exception is consumable held items the pokemon has before the battle begins- Trainers are not allowed to hand over additional consumable items during battle.
Capabilities
The following poke-edge is added.
Aura reader
prerequisites: level 20, 2 moves with the aura keyword or level 20, 1 move with the aura keyword and owned by a trainer with aura pulse
Cost: 1 tutor point
Effect: The pokemon gains the aura reader capability.
Additionally, the aura pulse poke-edge is open to everyone as long as the training is performed by someone capable of aura pulse. Should the pokemon lose the moves that grant aura reader/pulse, the edge is refunded.
