Speaking of Brassmoon...
This fine elite has a reflective breastplate. No other piece of armour, not even his helmet (which he should be polishing with the same care and attention), does this. Weird.

In the panel immediately after that one, and two pages later you can see that he is turning into a mirror. http://www.goblinscomic.com/11102008/willpell wrote:I think that's because he was turned to glass or silver or something by the Shield.Glemp wrote:Speaking of Brassmoon...

Must have read this page a dozen times, but I never before noticed that 'gauntlets' has been misspelled...

I think it is recent change. I read that page a week or two before and there was correct spelling certainly.

Cool stuff, at least I'm not going nuts then! Looks like it's changed to the Paladin's Handbook too - guess they're working through the changes from the start.

New one: in the big mob rush, a Viper Goblin and Lizardman (I think, I can't recall insert-inpossible-to-spell-properly's race) are there on the right.

I thought it was the players handbook, but I've honestly got no idea now. It's not something I paid that much attention to, sorry

Also, the book has correct spelling, but those strips were coloured and "retexted" for the dead tree versions.

The "Loosely hanging leather strap" is the remains of the backpack that went into the oblivion hole.
http://www.goblinscomic.com/02122013/
In other words, Minmax's team lost ALL of their loot getting up that hole. Including the anymug, the holy symbol(?), Goblin Slayer's sword and all the rope he had.
Another one I noticed a while ago.

The badger summoned here is a joke going back to Forgath's fight with Young and Beautiful.

They didn't lose the anymug. Forgath has it in his hand in the first panel in the bottom row of that page.
And his holy symbol is on his mace. http://www.goblinscomic.com/01152013/

Re: Things You Never Noticed Before
Not talking to this poster specifically, but to the thread in general based on their example:
I realize that everyone has to notice things for the first time, but this is an example of how this thread is likely to grow steadily more redundant over time. Can anyone think of a reasonable method of counteracting this, or is it just something we have to live with? I know this at least the second post in this thread about the badger callback; maybe we could archive things in the OP to try and prevent needless repetition?seawied wrote:The "Loosely hanging leather strap" is the remains of the backpack that went into the oblivion hole.

Forgath's change to two braids from one braid happens on screen, not off panel. I think that's pretty nifty.

Nifty indeed. Some of us, myself included, theorized that he would change it to three with his next level up. Of course that was back when he had a beard. But as we all know Forgath has never had a beard so...Rorrik wrote:Forgath's change to two braids from one braid happens on screen, not off panel. I think that's pretty nifty.
Willpell: Yeah it bothers me as well but I think that's just the nature of the thread. Happened quite a lot on the last forum. I don't think we should keep updating the OP because a) it will make that post a over-sized monster soon and b) I don't want to be picking whats "worthy" or not.
The way it ended up working on the old forum was someone would post something, lets say on page 15, that was already said on page 5. Most people would ignore it, others who had also not read page 5 would say "oh cool!" or even nice people who already saw page 5 would throw out a "nice catch".
I think a big part of this thread's "heart" is that people are proud of what they find and want to share it. My vote would be to let them go ahead and have their moment, even if it is redundant.
At some point I should really come up with a clever signature

Assumptions: Forgath keeps a number of braids equal to his level as much as possible.SccrD25 wrote:Nifty indeed. Forgath becomes Kore in the future and travels back in time.
Conclusion: Kore is way beyond Epic level.
It is a good theory, and he hasn't really had time to sit down and redo his braids since leveling up(heck, he's not sure if he'll keep that level yet). When did he hit level 2 though? Seems like he waited a long time that level as well.
