No, I hadn't complained about the gore (or about Y+B) before, partly because I wasn't on the forum when I first encountered them and am now used to them. I read the comic for several reasons, but the fact that it's pleasant to look at is one of the strongest such reasons. I'm not going to stop reading just because a bunch of ugly images appear one day, but the strip in which they appear is always going to be a non-favorite of mine, while the strips that have beautiful things (such as slave-bikini Kin, or the waterfall cliffs, or the shaded version of Klik turning to dust) are the ones I'll always remember most fondly and most enjoy re-viewing. Well, they look like they could be a generic eye... BUT STILL, he is missing an eye and keeps grabbing eyeball keys. Wait till it turns out only he can turn those keys for some reason.

That glowy bit is just a spark from grinding the Shield of Wonder against the wall. And Junior didn't do anything because it's not the kind of scared that warrants a reflex, more like watching a movie.
