What happened in turn 10
Diggersby trades in for another VP.
Dislikes Choosing trades for iron with
Throws Hats.
Dislikes Choosing trades in 5 iron for a pickaxe from Olof.
Choked on coal (
yellow) trades in for a VP.
Just a tip!
DC started to make the trading privately in at turn 9, so he could sudden grab the pickaxe and win the game with a quicker hit.
I have nothing against sneakiness. However, since I didn't know about the trade attempt in time and everyone posted publicly, I made the update for the turn 10, thus unknowingly foiling the masterplan. So if you think to do such things in the future, shoot me a pm too beforehand (even if you are unsure of the results), or delay your public action. I'm always waiting for everyone to post, anyway.
Turn 11
Diggersby breaks the way open to the diamond!
Dislikes Choosing also breaks open the way to the diamond!
Choked on coal (
yellow) moves south, and mines yet another 3 pieces of gold.
Throws Hats moves north, and would help to dig north east on the boulder, but it's been already removed...
Lilith the priestess has left!
Stephan, the Head Smelter is about to leave! He will be replaced by another trader next turn.
A new trader has arrived! Kindle, the firespitter would gladly buy some Ruby.
Now, what will happen?
As per the rules
Each player has 3 actions for a turn, in this order:
1. Play a Card (if they have)
2. Move
3. Dig!
Since the last dig actions to remove the boulders happened this turn, the players couldn't just grab the diamond, which can happen next turn. And since everyone is within range to grab it...
I think it would be unfair to make it "first post wins".
I think it would be also kind of unfair to make a "free for all four".
So top side will fight for the right to grab from above, and bottom side will also fight to grab from below!
Of course, if someone does not want to grab the diamond, they can state it now and is out of the rumble! (And would be known as not-a-real-digger-goblin as everyone knows they all want them shinies...)
When we have the two winners (side from north and south), they will compete for the final grab!
Now, what will the fight be?
Since DC and Diggersby were the first two to open the way, they can challenge Chokes and Throws, respectively.
There are three kinds of challenges!
- Challenge of wits! (I will be dealing you 3 cards. whoever guesses the other's cards faster, will win.)
- Challenge of brawn! (I'll roll for a resource. Whoever collects 4 of it faster will win. In this case, normal rules apply, so you can still collect VP and cards from other sources, might be even trading for the resource asked.)
- Challenge of luck! (I roll a d10 for each player, the bigger number wins.)
Challenge them!

Whenever at least 3 players mine a 3, the Luck goes up by 1. At +3, every player gains 2 free FANCY resource, and the counter resets to 0.
The two events apply to the same number, so a lucky round after an unlucky round equals to a Luck of 0.
