Joe bravely flees, shooting wildly as she does. The first blast lands on the on the large black spider but the second slams into the ceiling. Ruby breathes out a cone of electricity but only manages a full hit on the little, brightly colored spider. They all are still kicking and

Kroshav isn't sure which of the spiders that are hurt is hurt the most so he just decides to the hit the one that looks like Toby, the black and nearly hairless one. It is smaller too, so probably he can kill it better! It turns out he is dead on and kills it with his first hit before moving to the brown one directly south of him that looks pretty burnt. His second hit unfortunately isn't enough to kill that spider.

Who is Kroshav hitting first?: 1D3 = [1] = 1


The two remaining spiders that came from the south both attempt to bite Kroshav but neither find exposed scales to sink their fangs into.

Jaq will move over to the open door to the north and snipe at the large green spider.

He then yells, "over here hairy legs." to see if he can get one or two to maybe be distracted by him, then he uses the rest of his movement to head back towards the east door of the room again. He will then use his cunning action to get more movement and move through the east door and back into the corridor and move south the remaining movement.

Jaq moves into the open doorway and fires a shot through the open doorway. The arrow goes clearly too high, but at the last moment one of the fletchings twists off and the arrow spins back down and through the green spider. The spider drops with a wet thump to the ground. Jaq scampers away.

Having left the room, he isn't sure if his call had any impact on the spiders. Joe notices that both of the big spiders close in though, and even more concerning the small spider simply disappears. Before the large spiders get too close they both turn and hurl dense masses of sticky webbing. The first strikes Ruby, dropping him from the sky and the second envelopes Joe.

The bright purple smaller spider decides to join its sister in attacking Kroshav. Both bite at the large dragonborn but only the blue one manages to find a gap. Even though it is smaller it hurts just as much as the big one's bite! Disconcertingly, both of the spiders disappear after their attacks.

Without moving yet, Jaq will fire off an arrow at the green spider harassing Kroshav.

Longbow with bless: 1D20+8+1D4 = [8]+8+[1] = 17 (should be plus 9, so 18 total, I'm still doing a level lower)

He will then move back into the room he was just in. If when entering he sees no spiders in the room he continues and and moves towards the north door again and he hides.

The green spider dies and curls in on itself as Jaq moves back to hide near the north door of the table room. There don't look to be any spiders nearby...

In the hallway two spiders close on Joe and Ruby. The north one enters Ruby's range and she releases a cone of lightning which the spider manages to partially twist away from. The spider then leaps onto the trapped owl, surprisingly enough Ruby manages to twist enough the spider's fangs miss. Joe isn't so lucky as the large black spider sinks its fangs into her. Southwest of Ruby and just north of Joe the bright green spider reappears and leaps at the trapped owl just managing to catch him. The owl promptly disappears, leaving the webbing empty and two spiders a bit confused.

Joe then casts shatter as a 3rd level spell inbetween all the spiders. It’s a 10’ radius so she should be able to get all three without getting herself by positioning it near the north of the black spiders back feetsies.

Shatter, dc 13 con half: 4D8 = [8, 1, 3, 5] = 17

Joe feels her belt warm slightly but still feels the burn of the venom as she sends an ear splitting explosion behind the spiders. The black one manages to step away from some of the blast but the other two spiders take the full blast. None of the spiders are killed but both the brown and black spider look to be in bad shape. The brightly colored spider oozes brightly colored blood but looks to be in far better shape.

Con saves all around: 1D20+1 = [7]+1 = 8
1D20+1 = [5]+1 = 6
1D20+1 = [18]+1 = 19
