Re: D&D 3.5 game (now known as Shipwrecked) OOC thread
...Seriously? You think I'm not original enough to think of a character of my own and that If anything I'll steal a character from someone else? Why would I even want to do that? I didn't even remember that Dlover had a guy with that name until you mentioned it.

It just got to my attention that my initial post might cause some confusion. You don't necessary know each other or even have been on the same boat. So unless you guys decide you know each other (or just one of them), you are completely among strangers.

I guess I will claim this colour
hhm, so we might have glimpsed each other on the convoy? Because two mages chatting with their pets is usually quite remarkable
So actions go in regular tekst, and speech in the fancy colours?

Re: D&D 3.5 game (now known as Shipwrecked) OOC thread
I would expect that if we were all on the same boat, we'd probably know each other by sight at least even if we hadn't spoken on board. Ships are small (and they used to be even smaller) so it would be pretty difficult to avoid any attention at all unless someone was actively trying to keep to themselves.Theis2 wrote:It just got to my attention that my initial post might cause some confusion. So: Ala is not particularly tactful and somewhat headstrong, but she would have been sociable on the boat and spoken to the crew and the other passengers if they were willing to talk to her and pass the time. So if you guys decide you know her from the ship, then I'll roll with that

Jaspers will have spent most of his time studying, so he'll most likely only recognize a few people- And he probably only ended up actually talking to some far less.

Re: D&D 3.5 game (now known as Shipwrecked) OOC thread
To be honest... Morgan would have been talking to the sailors and not so much the other passengers. lol.
I'll go with reccognizing Ala though, thinks. Morgan and she likely wouldn't have spoken if Ala was dressed so that she looks very much like a paladin... but Ala might have thought she was one of the crew.

Re: D&D 3.5 game (now known as Shipwrecked) OOC thread
Could we get links somewhere to everyone's character sheet please? Maybe in the 1st post if possible? I just realised I don't actually know who everyone's playing (which could be fun to find out via the rping anyway) and it would be handy to know
I found Bob's, Lin's and m0rts so far

Sandro would most likely be dicing or drinking with the crew, and in general faily talkative.
What about describing how we look and such, or have you already done that?

Ala is described in her character sheet, but is 18 years old with silver hair and eyes and is wearing scale mail. She fights with a battleaxe and heavy shield and I'll leave the rest to your imagination
Ok here's everyone I think:

Updated my sheet with a description and stuff ^^
I'l probably at some point describe my clothing, because that might be the only clue to recognize me if i change appearance.

Re: D&D 3.5 game (now known as Shipwrecked) OOC thread
I'm intending to work on my char sheet a bit more once I have time. Like, for example, letting you guys actually know how old he is. I think most anything else is done though. At least the important stuff.
As for age though, I'm torn between making him old for minmaxing stuff, or making him rather young as I envision him to be. I think I'll stick with rather young for now though, as I don't feel the need to minmax everything. I'm sure I'll regret that soon.
Anyways, question, I heard it's possible to learn new spells by copying them from other books. I am, however, assuming I couldn't do this from the book of our friendly second mage?

reply to Asks: (he posted in the actual thread instead of bringing it here - Asks, I didn't steal your colour. You and I both seem to always use green - but you'll see in this thread I posted my colour choice hours and hours before you, and I made my in-game post at least a full day before you did So... I didn't steal nothing!

You should see him when I play him in RL. I did the same trick to the groups warlock in a poor ass inn called the hole. Warlock was about to kill me when a large group of ruffians notice the light and were pissed off enough to enter our room and demand our money. Cranberry simple turned around and threw a sleep spell at the large group of ruffians putting most of them to sleep. We handed them over to the authorties and got two nights for free. I chalked it up to brilliant planning on my part which pissed everyone else off.
