1. Looks like it.
2. Because it looks cool, ornamental, and bad-ass. And this is not real-life, but a fantasy setting, where armour can be ridiculously tight, yet still give full protection...

Anyone have noticed the klik? That Kreeeee is familiar of a warped klik, and you can see it trying to hide as a chest. Guess we have a mimic fight soon

No problem. Kore can always reach for that pole with a metal sheet riveted to the side of it. Failing that, he has a concrete anchor within his grasp.

I understood the Kreeee as the squeaky sound the door made when it was opened. Someone should really oil the hinges there!

That crying chest is something special, but I don't think it's a klik. Maybe a Mimic.

Seeing as Elli's dungeons are more puzzles than monsters, I imagine this chest will ask a riddle to be opened or something. However, since we just saw Kore "solve" a puzzle by circumventing it, I don't think he will answer the riddle.

No. The one on the wall has one blade and two beaks. GotTheNameRightMax has one with one blade and two (perhaps three) hooks, but no beaks.
