Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Maybe we just have him go to Anders and let Anders sort it? Just to get going.
So we can get this moving and reunite with the main plot of helping Dornikal convert everyone .

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
It didn't sound like anything was imminent, but if the decision is made to scrap this forum, I'd be strongly considering moving this game to the DnDBeyond forum, they have a super active play by post community, and they even have a die roller built into the forum.
Nothing immediate, but just a possibility, should this go down. The people I wouldn't want to lose contact with are the people I play with, I rarely post in any other part of these forums.

Yeah, anything that does happen, there should be plenty of headsup. And probably attempts to archive this somehow, but that's a bigger question mark.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
I know Badge had gone through and copied a lot of it a while ago, but I may work on that just so if it does go away, I don't have to scramble.

I think someone suggested something in the forum change discussion? I haven't looked at it yet but maybe I should now...

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Trying it now for my game. Seems simple enough if it works and it looks to gather images as well.
Edit: looks like it takes an hour per 1000 posts so I guess I will check it tomorrow morning and let you know.

By the by, the forum scraper didn't work.
Emailed a bit with the scraper's creator and he confirmed the tool doesn't work on only threads. So the options would be to download individual posts or entire forums worth of posts.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Hey, whose job was it to check for traps? Guessing its going to be poison damage since Dornikal got advantage on it.
Hopefully we got through the door though.

Once I get everyone's saves, I'll describe what's happening, but a peek behind the curtain, Kreldoran has advantage too.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Was it everyone in the hallway that got hit by whatever this is? Or just everyone?
I don't know where Kreldoran was, I think hiding in a corner in the room we ported into? Dornikal was at the door and Randy was behind/beside him. Ulmwin was in the silenced spot so either in the first room or just after where he could see. Coljin said he was right with Dornikal to share the silence and wanted to stay in the silenced area but that didn't turn out to be possible due to rules ( ) so I don't know if he was with Ulmwin or with Dornikal and Randy.
It also seems like Ulmwin, who is for sure kinda far away from Dornikal, is getting the worst of it so maybe it isn't from a trapped door?

You were kind of a drain on the group. Probably for the best.

((Everyone in the hallway was meant to not include Zokk and Gordon. So still needing saves from Coljin!))

Three poison types then? Nice trap! Should have went through the wall.

Okay the poisons were, in order, poison, sleep and blindness. Hard to pass all three looks like, 15+ DCs.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Anyone got anything to burn this basement down? A big explosion in the basement as we jump out would be a good distraction...
Seems like a waste of Randy's fireball cube though?

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Nothing says that the caster needs to see the target, just point and choose a distance... Kreldoran might need someone to aim him, but he could do this three times at level, and does have some higher level slots 'available'...
Fireball
3rd-level evocation
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 150 feet
Components: V, S, M (a tiny ball of bat guano and sulfur)
Duration: Instantaneous
A bright streak flashes from your pointing finger to a point you choose within range and then blossoms with a low roar into an explosion of flame. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
The fire spreads around corners. It ignites flammable objects in the area that aren't being worn or carried.
