Re: The keystone Chronicles
Only a +1 stat in return for a cantrip and fey step seems like an alright trade, yeah, if you prefer that version.

((It's an Elf subclass, so he'll also get the Elf stats and racial abilities too. Just so you know.))

Re: The keystone Chronicles
I think was originally designed as a variant of the High Elf...
I should point out I'm far more interested in the variable trait nature of the race Mort,

Also, have character sheets been set up on Roll20?

Re: The keystone Chronicles
My intention is to make it so that different people can jump in different sessions without too much issue, so that shouldn't be an issue? Would you be available for the one this Sunday?
Although at this rate if we ever get to a date where everyone can join, we're gonna have to figure out by what criteria people are going to be removed because we'd have too many at this point.
It does. So it's supposed to be in addition to the elf stats? Hmm... Eh, sure, it still kind of works out. Limited cantrips in trade for additional bonuses. No matter what ends up picked the seasonal changes sound like something that could be easily rp'ed though.
Just checking, you don't intend to switch with actual seasons right, but the rule you switch to what you want during short/long rest? Because I will say up front you are very unlikely to meet anything besides spring.
...Well, probably. If you travel far enough away seasons change after all.
Should be? Others have managed to add their sheets already in each case. If I need to do something let me know and I'll take care of it asap! Also, have character sheets been set up on Roll20?

Re: The keystone Chronicles
the 'seasons' are just metaphorical really, it is all linked to the character's emotional state
Sadness-Winter
Fury-Summer
Joy-Spring
Autumn-Contentment
As far as I know character sheets should be found in the journal part of the player screen if they have been selected to be authorized by the game host.
But I can't seem to get it to generate a new character sheet when I'm there...*shrugs*

Re: The keystone Chronicles
Yeah seems that I need to hand out character sheets then allow you to edit them first. My bad! You other peeps should make sure to sign up as a player in the game asap so I can do that for everyone!
edit: ninja, but that should answer that question as well. I wouldn't be opposed but having them in roll20 would probably be easiest?

Oh also, we probably want to be doing voice over discord as I've heard roll20 can be unreliable..? I set up a server for the purpose in each case:

Well...at least my 8 won't be the worst?
Though I made Wisdom my dump stat, so that might make things awkward...

Re: The keystone Chronicles
All right, I'm going Var Human (Polearm Master Feat) / Fighter 1 / Barb 2 with Great Weapon nonsense and wall-of-meat fun. Will sign into Roll20 and sort out the sheet asap.
Edit: Can I have a +1 weapon please? I'd like it to apply to my Glaive

Re: The keystone Chronicles
Try and at least join the campaign asap, and then give me a little signal in game if needed... You won't be able to start editing a sheet until I assign you one! And I can't assign you one until you are registered as a player...

Re: The keystone Chronicles
Decided on Var Human (Polearm Master) instead of goliath; otherwise the same.
Just joined the game and have my stuff ready to go if you're ok with the set up.

Re: The keystone Chronicles
TPK, no one survived, going to have to start the session over while Chron shakes his head that his champions can't even beat a purple wormling.
Seriously though, session went great! Expect a session summary somewhere in the future

Two wormlings. Then some cultists, chokers, and a chuul.
It was basically one long, continuous fight across the entire sewers. Through absolutely no fault of mine
