Davecom3 wrote:If Synch and Chuck put their ideas together, the Catastrophic Killer could have been found, yet not in time this game. Synch was right that it related to the beginning of the sentences, not the beginning of the list, obviously. That said, Chuck was also right that neither "BUNDLE OF LIMBS" nor "FOOLS FOLLY" require the italicized words to be spotted nor referenced anything. Still, the italicized words were a big hint if you avoided the thought that the capital letters were their ultimate goal. The phrase said "lets start at the very beginning its a very good place to start", so if you do just that, you start with the very first letters in said sentences. These weren't the goal, just the start.

But how do you know where to go from there? Well, if you know the letters of the English alphabet, you also know where they fall in that alphabet, A being 1st and Z being 26th. The number of each letter reveals which of the letters in each sentence was important when you started counting them out at the very beginning of each sentence.

Doing this, you reveal the letter chains "outcastkiller" and "goskabluey". "outcastkiller" draws your attention to previous rounds in the archive, "goskabluey" to the Goblins Minesweepers game, either which pointed straight at me.

And I'm going to guess BadgeAddict was the Warrior, though odd never told me. Dlover, I'd basically ruled out for the most part from the beginning. I'd started suspecting Badge with that second clue, which seemed to me to be pointing directly at his gnomish bard in the "The Festival Of Fools" thread.
Well I would have lynched you eventually, just thinking you were a different killer.

Well, you can always use other methods to disguise same hints. And it's always been done before, so it seems like there are precedents.

I'm not going to say you have to, but it's good etiquette. Also; Remember to get your dummy kills in, people! You can't get the marvelous Trowel of Wonder if you don't, and you've all seen how useful that can be, after it just outright made Loony's team win.

Also Player / Monster stats, skill lists.

My characters:
Tugs Tails, the goblin that was sort of a trapper and wears a bear's tail at his neck, for some reason - Lair of the Mountain King (Run by Thinks)
Alex Sparo, A city boy, poor of sight, who has learned to manipulate people and make the most of what he, and others, have - Trinity Isles (Run by Mort)
Mehriv Turajin, a Noble Dragonborn Sorcerer sent from his clan because he wasn't dragony enough. - The Wandering Archipelago (Run by Thinks)

Due to the fact that i had no knowledge of this "rule" about declaring your clues, I will say thanks but no thanks. If on such future occasion that i am chosen to be the killer, then, at that time, i shall reveal said clues.

There's no rule about it. Over time we've just started sharing at the end of each round, so people can see what sort of things others do and learn how to better craft their own kills.
