The Unhallowed Isle has started, but it's still recruiting and will be for a while. We're looking for all the players we can find right now.
You know you're playing D&D when your party is bartering to get good prices on the sold equipment of a party member... While that party members stands 5 feet away and protests.

My forum game: The Unhallowed Isle (recruiting). OOC.

Really depends on what you mean?
the simple answer is, you make a new thread and says its a game.

but you also need to chose what type of game it is:
graphics; none or some of full
Rules; any life system? combat? role play?
What can players play? hoe do they influence the world?

its a big topic...

Also check out the God School & resources subforum for more practical advice on designing a forum game :) There's a lot of good advice if you need it, otherwise just have at it! People around here are pretty open to most types of game, but have a read of some of the others and get a feel for what you like.

Hello, all. I am interested in running a Pathfinder game for 4-5 players. It has been awhile since I did a PBP game, but I had a great time with them before. Cheers!

Edit 1/20/14: I'm still interested in running a game

Want to post a wee link to my new game in here because it's going to be a series of mini-dungeon quests that you guys can all sign up for as they come up. If you're interested, you can read more about it here:

Just out of curiosity, do you guys do any RTD (Roll To Dodge) games?

Actually, not sure if this is the best place or even the right place to ask.

Looking to add 1-2 people for Surviving Castle Heterodyne... Should note that the game system is still in 'Beta', so any potential players should be willing to work with that... check out the recruitment, OOC and game thread and let me know if you're interested. Updates are pretty much as fast as people post and I can turn one around, typically daily through the week at least, and sometimes on weekends.

Well, you can always throw your name into the very large hat that is the Goblins Adventure League. Sorry I'm not going to provide links.
There are two quests currently happening Q4 and Q5. It's possible that more quests will be added at some point, not sure if there are any aspiring DMs...

Civilization 6 will be starting in supposedly august or September and everyone is free to join up, i think there is a planned cap of 20-30 with a waiting line available, though it really depends on how many people sign up. There is currently a discussion thread for this in which the DM (Aegis) lists the rules and things to vote on and such.

Otherwise, this seems to be somewhat of a slump in gaming, as there aren't any games that are currently recruiting but, taking a quick look over things, there seem to be about 5 number of "active" games currently, these include.

Surviving Castle Heterodyne
GAL:Q5 - The Fountain of Mud-honey
GAL: Q4 - Tower Assault
Trouble In Xanth
Pokemon Amethyst RPG

Of course, I didn't include other "games" which anyone/everyone can play at any time, which include games like:

Corrupted Wish Game
Herbert where art thou?
Haiku Continued
Odd Statements
Random Thread 2

(There may be some that I missed on both lists)
Note: By active, I mean someone has posted in them in the last 24 hours.

Civ 6 can be erased from "free to vote in" as I gave that one up because I tried to do too much too quickly.

However, there may be another one coming... soonish...

Newer to the forums here, but I am carefully watching for openings...some of these games here are very well run and seem to be great fun.

But no openings here as far as I can see at the moment.

In the PBP game that I am playing on another site, we are also looking for a couple new players, in case someone is in need of a game fix, and can't find it here with no openings.

It is a 3.5 dnd Eberron campaign, its been going or a while, but we are all 4th level now, and a few new live players would be cool.

Take a look if interested, Roleplaymarket.com and it is called Forge to Claw. We have a great DM and we post fairly quickly.

If someone has an opening in a game here...let me know please. VERY intrigued by the SCH game, and all of the games with goblins where the GM draws the rooms out each turn. Very unique, very fun!

Thanks

Capture the Flag has returned and is open for recruitment! Anyone who wants to sign up can, as I am planning to run multiple games over the months to come and none of the games are particularly long. The sign-up and rules thread is here. The rules may look like a wall of text... okay they are a wall of text, but I promise it's easier than it looks and it's a ton of fun. So sign up!

We already have 2 players and just need 4 more to start a 3v3 match. If there's enough interest we can just as easily run a 4v4 or 5v5.
