I definitely thought of it as a reference, but I was reading "too fast" to dwell in the first panel alone.
It contained no text, so I basically skipped looking at it and jumped to the next panel, and the next,... until I found text to read.

But it's definitely a ver nice pointer.

And it explains what to do to "win".
The gods just need to magically increase the size of a playful cat.....

And the curse of the snarl will be unraveled.

1191 An Easy Mistake

What is he reading?

Also, I forgot Julia existed. I should probably do a re-read sometime, since I don't have Elan to catch me up on the plot.

He's reading from Wrecan's book on Weapons of Legacy.

Also, new page is up, and I'm bothered by Julia's skirt not having any visible button keeping it together.

Ah, thanks.

And I agree about the skirt. It makes it look like a bath towel.

Buttons are for those who can't manage an Unseen Servant spell. Or she could have just turned the button invisible, since that's the latest fashion fad.

It's been a lot of "maintenance" updates lately; now at last we're back to the Giant's brilliant philosophy, which we haven't seen too much of since the amazing "Lesson Planar", or the main story in "Good Deeds Gone Unpunished". This take on the gods, while not to my personal preference (I tend to like my gods to be truly godly), is a brilliant conception that aligns with everything we've already seen.

Elan should really put his sensibilities to work with a career in Hollywood when this is all over. XD

1199 - Helpful for Counting Though

Elan's logic melts my brain in the best possible way. I can only assume that "long-term strategic value" is a phrase he picked up from Haley which he really doesn't particularly understand. (Also, given that we have a nice round number coming up next, I'm guessing that his use of the phrase "hope spot" here is unintentional foreshadowing.)

1200 - Contactless Deliberations

Good idea, Durkon!

If it works, superb, if it makes Redcloak think, very good, if not, well only one sending spell lost.
And the element of surprise, which in a D'n'D world is limited anyway. Especially with redcloak, who's rather "prepared".

Another update notification:
Page 1202 - Cloud Commuting

And I thougt that airship is the perfect travel companion for any adventuring party, as its special feature was that it always arrives just in time.
Which means just enough time to get the job done anyway. Even if you're beginners and make faults, the ship calculated that in and you'll still make it in time,,,,

But Cloud Commuting is also nice.
But Hailey, Social Distancing! ;)

I feel Blackwing's pain about being price gouged in the apocalypse.

This update is awesome in many ways. I love how Blackwing complains that prices are too high, and Haley immediately complains that they aren't *higher*; I like Belkar's implication that halflings have a very specific system of small measurements which sound like dumb slang when translated into Common. I'm sadly pretty sure that The Giant intended the "genie" thing to be semi-serious, since he's on the same "side of history" as people who make comments of this sort in real life; if I didn't know that about his politics, though, I'd have thought he was expertly lampooning this type of "SJW" attitude. Just goes to show how satire doesn't really work anymore (Poe's Law).

I think it's on purpose, so he can make contact to the Purple One, as requested by Thor.

His team won't be happy, as he's risking the whole mission.
