It's been a lot of "maintenance" updates lately; now at last we're back to the Giant's brilliant philosophy, which we haven't seen too much of since the amazing "Lesson Planar", or the main story in "Good Deeds Gone Unpunished". Elan's logic melts my brain in the best possible way. I can only assume that "long-term strategic value" is a phrase he picked up from Haley which he really doesn't particularly understand. (Also, given that we have a nice round number coming up next, I'm guessing that his use of the phrase "hope spot" here is unintentional foreshadowing.)

And I thougt that airship is the perfect travel companion for any adventuring party, as its special feature was that it always arrives just in time.
Which means just enough time to get the job done anyway. Even if you're beginners and make faults, the ship calculated that in and you'll still make it in time,,,,

I feel Blackwing's pain about being price gouged in the apocalypse.

This update is awesome in many ways. I love how Blackwing complains that prices are too high, and Haley immediately complains that they aren't *higher*; I like Belkar's implication that halflings have a very specific system of small measurements which sound like dumb slang when translated into Common. I'm sadly pretty sure that The Giant intended the "genie" thing to be semi-serious, since he's on the same "side of history" as people who make comments of this sort in real life; if I didn't know that about his politics, though, I'd have thought he was expertly lampooning this type of "SJW" attitude. Just goes to show how satire doesn't really work anymore (Poe's Law).

Please no veering into political commentary.
