Well, there they go.

They're clearly a latter-day Sithrak sect. (I can't link to that, unfortunately, so you'll just have to take my word for it.)

1157 Holes and Walls

I feel like there has to be a way around this plan.

Sithrak sounds about right...

And I sincerely hope the blue wall does more than just that...

The thing is, that likely the exact question has been formulated in advance and cannot easily be changed anymore.
Depends on the formalities of the Dwarven Assembly...

"You want to change the question proposed at the summit? Well, we can do that..."

"...But it's going to take another week of prep to do it, I'm afraid."

Well, well. Element of Surprise was broken, yes.
Otherwise this page is obviously just the start of a bunch of fight-panels.

I also wonder how much HP that worm has, and how much they still have to take down.

I don't know, but it looks like they barely even hurt the thing.

Durkon's hammer looks nice. I like it.

That'w what I feared.
That's why I want to know how much HP that thing still has left compared to its original HP count.
Something like 99% or so may be left.

http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots1161.html - Easy to forget

how can he cast a spell from inside the barrier?
Oh wait.
The orange barrier is no magic-blocking barrier. It's a dispel magic kind of wall...
And it prevents non-Dwaven bodies from entering.
Likely using spells cast to go out is part of the defensive maneuver, allowing attackers to be fired upon, while keeping them from entering...
So, I mixed up, sorry.

edit to ad2:
Page name. It's Easy to Forget. Is that a hint at an action he should not've done while inside the orange barrier?

I think the page name refers to it being easy to forget they have a cleric again.

I don't think it'll be hard for any of us to remember that dwarf = Cleric.

The Kelly family is coming! With all their instruments!

(I just find it funny they're coming with those playing instruments upfront, and not those wielding the hammers/swords/...)

I seriously cheered a little bit in my head. That wurm is going to lose its hundreds of hit points pretty fast.

(Teach that gang of dwarf vampires to think a dwarves-only ward was going to save them. Though it will keep most of the OOTS out, which might be a bit lame if there isn't a workaround.)

How is Durkon able to discern who is meant?
My family is small, yet when talking about a cousin's brother-in-law niece, I would not know which one!
(I have two persons I could call a cousin, only one is married, and she has two brothers (two brothers-in-law), and that sums up to at least 2 (different) nieces (one niece in common, and each at least another niece, but I'm sure I don't know their complete families). And that's before I remember that in English cousin means both genders, so the brothers-in-law increases to at least 3, (I wonder if the second female cousin even got a new boyfriend/married after she ditched ..., but I don't know any nieces of those families, as contact is spare.)

Anyway, interesting fighting move.
Yet effective.

The newcomer looks to be wielding something along the lines of an Incarnate Weapon. Although that might not explain why it goes right through the neck of that elemental. (Another question being why an elemental *needs* its head attached in order to continue functioning.)

The images don't show the elemental collapsing/falling.
So, maybe they're in for some more artistic Dwarven canonballs.
