Probably alright with me, if I have internet. Might not be able to join until later though, if we decide we're going to do anything that night.

That'd work for me too.

Same here, more likely than not. :)
I'm GMT -6, though, so ping times might be an issue for one or all of us. >:-P

So, how many are we expecting to play today? from what I could tell it is something like 5 or 6 people?

I'm thinking we'll only have 4.

Also I've now played the game four times and I suck. Also I would expect my suck ratio to increase, very slightly because I'm pretty close to maxed, as I'm going to have to play on a laptop without a mouse.

Wooo!

On first glance it looks to me like... 4 people? Oh well, more can always pop up. :P

I'm probably going to suck as well as my internet is kind of shitty at the moment... And I suck by default as Theis has seen. :P
Oh well! We'll be the suckiest team in history.

Event starting in about two hours! Be there or be square! (Dusk is so a square)

Are we going to meet up on skype or...?

That's why Co-Op vs. Bots was invented. So the sucky can learn to be ... slightly less sucky, at least. :P

Skype would be fine, or we could use Steam's built-in chat/conference-call stuffs. I'm not picky. :)

Don't know how to use the steam but if it's easy I'm up for that too.

We can also just split up in two teams playing against each others. I should be able to figure something out creating a game in the lobby part :)

Seems the laptop couldn't handle multi, only bot play. :wall:

Sorry for the time waste. Give me a week and a few and we can try again!

It's nothing Rodgeir. Sucks though. :(

Anyways, we played and me and Theis discovered we suck at this with Lunix basically winning for us. :P

Dusk briefly showed up but DCed so sorry he remains a square. :P

Hey! You try playing a game at 1 frame every 5-10 seconds! :P

Anyway, yeah, turns out phone internet DotA doesn't really work too well
Any chance we can try again next Saturday/Sunday, when I've got proper internets?

I would love to do something like this, but the only games I have that can do multi-player are ME3 and Star Ruler. This is not including MMOs.

If my new processor/mb/ram get here this week I'd be up for another game next weekend.

I was quite looking forward to it.

I'm enjoying the minecraft server. I'm building a port town on a small island about 6000 blocks south and 3500 blocks east of Spawn. Even making a lighthouse, using brick!

OK...... I checked Steam for DOTA 2 and it said that I already owned it, although I am 100% certain I have never bought it. So once I check it out and learn how to play I would be up for a game.

That is (al)most certainly the Spectator Client. You can watch other people's games, but not play in them. It's the Beta Pass (what M0rt/Theis are offering) that unlocks the client's ability to start/play matches.

Probably a little late, but ya, it'll be a spectator pass. Look maybe 20 posts back and you'll see where I said nearly the same thing as you...

Well Arydra let know if you need a pass. They're all like little puppies I need to get rid off... :P

Anyways... Might be able to join this Sunday if we're doing a dota event. We'll see.

Also... Apparently they made a age of empires II HD remake! With apparently support from Steam to launch multiplayer games... Just thought I'd mention it. I might buy it, but we'll see. Bioshock infinite, far cry 3 and a few other titles are also very high on the want list right now... :)
