It must be adjusted to your brain before use, so I think misuse will happen mostly because of lack of skill.

I'm more interested in noncontact brainwave detectors. It's somewhat esoteric, by they say that Mind Lamp works.

Personally, like last time I'd gather a few "interesting" looking servers. AKA, game servers, creative servers, pvp servers... My friends server should also be online, so we could go on there for some straight up survival.

If Bigears joins, I guess we'd start with survival or game servers since he has expressed some sincere opinions considering creative servers. (Though it was hilarious the previous time):P

Alright, servers- Personally I wouldn't stick with "just one" server, so I looked for a few options- Namely the big things, such as creative, survival, and then game servers. We'll just decide on skype what we want to do first.

Creative:
mc.creativecraftserver.net (pretty cool creative server. We could all work together in one pretty big plot)

Survival:
81.83.229.172 (My friends minecraft server. Sadly it seems to be down again. And it's ridiculously hard to find a "just survival" server! If you guys have any suggestions, give them. )

Game servers:
Anything from http://www.minecraftpvp.com/
http://www.ghostcraft.net/servers (I have an account so I could look which servers are open. Most likely us1.ghostcraft.net)
pb1.evolutiongaming.org (Has some fun games, but their server side lag has not been improving.)

What do you mean by "just survival"?
I think someone can create survival map and open it to multiplayer. I'm not sure that I can do that, though (unless you are ok playing with a few FPS).

Just survival meaning no great project to create this building or that building...just....living the life... mining, avoiding monsters...etc

I was more generally referring to the fact you log into a world, and you don't end up in a server where you have to do something obnoxious to get full rights first, or it's pvp, or you have to be in a faction, or you have to walk for an hour just to get somewhere where you could actually get raw resources...

I know there's some good survival servers out there, I just don't remember any.

I believe they made a mod for DF2 so you could play multiplayer? Didn't really look deep into it but found this:
