There was a thread in the original forum where players assembled to do other games together, like MineCraft. I haven't seen this re-started, so feel free to use this thread as a meeting point to that goal!

If you'd like to play a game, please post it here, it will be added to the next post!

For the sake of easier tracking, please include these at least:

I might enjoy some minecraft. Either a server game if anyone has a server, or I might do a Let's Play and post pics, acting according to the voices in Steve?'s head.

I will be honest, I started this thread because I wanted to invite people over BoardSpace. It has many interesting board games (like Hive), which I utterly, UTTERLY fail at playing, but they look fun. I had hoped maybe some of you would join me up?

I also would like to play some Magicka.

I play minecraft too. I know some already played once, but it was not at a good time for people in europe. I typically play in the evenings between 20 and 24 o'clock (german time).

Actually I think most of us were from Europe? It was like... 9 o'clock till midnight for me I think.

Anyways, who says we do that again next friday? Like, say, starting... 8pm GMT? Was great fun the last time.

Can anyone think of a way for people like me (who don't have Minecraft) to watch what they're doing? Last time I had to settle for just listening to their voices as they were horribly murdered by skeletons, which was only partly funny.

It wasn't just a skeleton, it was a skeleton and his merry henchmen.

As for watching us... I don't think it's possible to share a videofeed with multiple people at a time unless your a premium member... HOWEVER... I think it might be possible to open up a different conversation with someone else, and then share a videofeed with him- Which would you get a single POV?

Or you could just buy Minecraft ye greedy bastard.

Can you have a video conversation open at the same time as a group one? I thought it wasn't possible for some reason.
I'm at work, so I can't really check that now.

Minecraft costs like, what, 15 dollars? Yer missing out of only a week of chocolate!

Seriously though, my main problem with it is that playing on a laptop is super difficult. Touchpads make any mouse-controlled game almost impossible to use without contorting your fingers in painful ways.
However, I've been trying to figure out how to plug in my PS3 controller. If I manage it, and it becomes easier to play, then I probably will fork over the moneys.

Go buy a portable mouse as well!

It's a laptop. You think I'm capable of using a mouse in mid-air, or on the arm of a sofa?

I only ever use my laptop when I'm either lying in bed, or sitting on a sofa/armchair. There's literally nowhere to put the mouse.

Buy one of those things you can lay your laptop on and then use your mouse while in bed!

Or just go sit at a desk.

But I guess I could try to use twitch tv or ustream to see if that works without killing my connection
