The Lidepkanti are an eyesore for the rest of the Zhenkanti, a taboo tribe they'd probably be thankful to be rid of. Further, their presence is likely to cause trouble for Sails and Feathers Freehold, and we're currently not having to have as many troops stationed in Oasis Hearth. Still more, if the Norfs do end up attacking we are more likely to be able to escape the brunt of it if half our goblins are already in place over at Feathers Freehold, and if we make our escape at the right time, we may be able to get one of our enemies to finish off another, allowing us to make an attack on whichever of the two survives.

And, no, Smells-Fishy is absolutely not going to be joining in the raid. His lack of sight would be a massive disadvantage.

Jibjib, I think you could find what your power does easily enough by googling "Ring of Free Action" but this basically is what I found:

Wearing a ring of free action gives you the free action extrinsic, which protects you from paralysis.
This immunity includes protection from:

Paralysis container traps
A thrown or quaffed potion of paralysis or potion of sleeping
Paralysis or stunning spells (reduced to one turn)
In addition, protection from the paralyzing attacks of the following monsters:
Floating eyes ("You momentarily stiffen under the floating eye's gaze!)
Gelatinous cubes
Ghouls
Guardian nagas
Shades
Yeenoghu
Free action does not:
Protect you from being "paralyzed" by fear when an enormous ghost appears in a deserted temple, or you chat to a skeleton
Protect you from sleep, except from potions of sleeping
Protect you from stunning, except from spells
Protect you from any grabbing attacks, including drowning
Protect you from bear traps, pits, spider webs, or any physically binding traps
Protect you from stoning
Allow you to move freely on the Plane of Air or Plane of Water
Prevent you from being incapacitated by lightning in clouds on the Plane of Air

That from Nethack? It's been a long long time since I've played a Roguelike.

But yeah, it just means you can't be magically Held, Slowed, or anything that would restrict movement. Contrary to Dave's note, it -will- stop things like serpent constriction, grapples and the like.

Well, probably any work Smells-Fishy does after this point will be without the library or with a partner, seeing as we've not got a language for the blind, and I'm not sure an animal companion could read.

Oh, and Aegis, Beats is healed of his injury but still has a broken leg. I think you might have intended to remove that bit. Along with the fact that two of us made it home but are still reportedly in the OP.

And since it's permanent, I assume blood eye drops won't work for his eyes. Reaches might try it, but I doubt Smells-Fishy would have suggested it as it would require giving a wound to Obsidian.

B, C, G(It's better than F, so...)

Sails talks to Reaches
► Show Spoiler
After some hard thinking, Sails has decided to stay good friends with the Yoodles himself no matter what is decided. The Yoodles are an aquatic race who can help him in his sea travels once his ship is built, and while he is not exactly a saint(And definitely isn't pacifistic), he thinks the Lidepkanti are assholes, especially due to their belief that the Yoodles aren't even sentient. Also, he has felt connected to the Yoodles by at least friendship since they gave him the stone, making him the only one who could talk to them(Other than casters using Tounges, of course). As a result:

SA: Sails spends much of the next month talking to the Yoodles, eager to learn more about them, from what technology and magic they have to their history and why they are pacifists. He does concentrate on any knowledge they may have about sailing ships for personal reasons(Even if they don't use them they may have seen them, and anything that could help him build a ship is important to him), but as an explorer/adventurer(In the non D&D sense) he is eager to learn and see what he can.

Room 1: Getting In: Sneak In
Room 2: Defeating the Guards: Ambush and Assassinate
Room 3: Silencing the Mages: Use Bloodmute Root
Room 4: Reaching the Central Temple: Focus on Sneaking
Room 5: Dealing with the Leader: Lead him into a Trap
Room 6: It's Smashing: Steal the Black Ruby
Room 7: The Great Escape: Just use a Teleport Beacon

Question: Does Sails(and the other PC's) have the thick skin and/or bioluminescence? If we can choose, I would like Sails to have the bioluminescence, but mostly I'm just curious to know.

Request: If it wouldn't be too difficult, would you mind moving the Talon information to Feathers Foothold since Sails intends for it to be the new home of the Talon(Or maybe just add 'home base of the Talon' to the description). I'm planning on using a SA to build a home building for the Talon(A barracks building on the cove shore that will also hopefully hold all the equipment and treasure the Talon have for/from their land and sea explorations), but i can't do it this month because i'm already using an action.

It applies to the entire tribe, though I'm not sure it applies to anybody who wasn't there at the time.

Actually, Obsidian's blood MIGHT work, because it's a "divinely granted familiar". It's something that could be tried. Beats has the option to stay right where he is and keep on fighting, or he can head home.

Ah, screw it. Reaches relies much on the thoughts and words of Sails after all... My third vote goes to G.

Also, Reaches will try to heal Smells with Obsidian-blood (I doubted it'll work, as it is not really a physical wound, but why not trying it.^^). While she doesn't hurt her familiar on a regular basis, she sees was Smells did for the tribe - And a cure minor or light will take care of the strong dire wolverine.

Beats did not come all the way to this Valley just to be sent home with a pair of fancy-schmancy gloves and a "So sorry but you didn't cut it" line. He's had to deal with minor failures to many times. He re-enters himself into the Valley to show up everyone that goblins are tougher than anyone gives them credit for.
