"Just put this... here... and heeeeeaaaaave! Lovely! All right you lot, gather round!"
"Right! Well, welcome to the first ever Goblin Adventurer's League (guild status pending)! I am Savage, your host and new boss, and this is a little venture of mine I've been working on which I'm confident will be able to rival the 'traditional' human Adventurer's Guilds in good time. Now, we're still pretty new so there's not much of a client base right now, but don't worry! I've got a few loose ends of my own I need taken care of, which brings me nicely to our First Job. Check the details on the board, and if you're interested in having a shot at it just sign your name on the sheet. You have 24 hours to sign up and if there's too much interest I'll choose a party at random. Now, if you'll excuse me I have work to do. If you have questions, speak to the barman."
The goblins crowd around the board, keen to see what heroic task awaits them...
QUEST 1: That guy owes me beer!
: I recently helped a group of evicted trolls settle into a new lair not too far from here in exchange for a crate of their very excellent 'Grulchsbier'. However, they were supposed to deliver it last week and I have a sneaking suspicion that they're trying to get out of paying. So I need some of you to go and pay them a little visit, see what the hold-up is and bring back that beer.
: Go and collect the barrel of Grulshsbier from Thurg the Troll.
: Uh... eternal glory? I'm afraid you'll have to find your own reward down there.
: I'll pay a variable bonus reward for the recovery of any trophies that are worth displaying in the bar. The more trophies we have and the more impressive they are, the more likely potential clients are to take our organisation seriously after all!
PLAYER SPOTS AVAILABLE
: This quest is for four players (I'd prefer to stay on Thurg's good side for now).
: If you want to sign up, post your name & the character you want to use in this thread and I'll make the player draw at random on Wednesday evening. The quest itself will have its own thread, so whether you make it in or not, feel free to continue hanging out here until the next job comes along
