The art is a tribute to LSN's comic style, as seen here: In his awesome comic just so you all know :)

At the One Eyed Bull Inn, Three friends sits in a heated discussion!
Image
"I say that we can all try out for the dukes guard, they pay okay, and you get a place to live"
"Piss of a diving horse if I'll work for that fool, It was his taxes that made up poor in the first place"
"But, I'm hungry now...."

Image
"I know, I know.. then what about the blacksmith and the deer hunter, they both seek apprentices, and I'm sure we could find a third job in the next town"
"No... ! We promised father to stay together. we cannot part!"
"I DON'T CARE, I'M HUNGRY!"

Image
"Eh ehem!... gentlemen.. if I may" Says the Brown clad figure in the corner and throws a small brown leather bag.. *cling cling* sounds as it hits the table...
"There should be enough to give you all a meal... now please hear me out..."
"...I once used to be an adventure, but sadly, that ended when I took a sword to the lung...
..
.
... What? Why do you look like that? Expected me to say something else??
.

.

.. Anyways... On the way back from my last adventure.. me an my party came across this small stronghold..."

Image

"On the top of it stood one lone Orc...
Tabor the mind bender, our groups evil'ish cleric decided to dominate this Orc and all his friends in that place...
The rest of us.. not really wanting to have anything to do with that prick of a goblins reproduction organs.. decided to just go on our way... And I needed a healer anyways..

This is all fine and well.. But what do you know.... when I get back on my feet.. I soon learn that that infernal leftover of a trolls foot scrapings had stolen my price sword...
Now.. not that the sword was magical or anything.. Its just a family heirloom... so I kind of need it back.. Oh.. and its magical...

So here is the deal... If you three agree to all become members of the Adventure guild, and thus take up adventure classes.. and will try to retrieve my sword for me.. I'll pay for your introduction fee to the guild and buy you some starting gear for.. lets say 150 gold each... what do you all say?"

Image
"No wait! We want the job.. We've been sneaking here outside the window.. Cant we get the job?"
Image
"No, no.. I'm sorry... I already promised these three the job.."
"Yes!"
"Aaawww"
"Come-one guys, lets go... there's nothing for us here!"
Image
"Ah.. that did't go so bad..."
"So.. Let's go buy you guys some gear..."

"WOOOO!"
*SO HAPPY I CANNOT SPEAK!!!*
"GO US!"
"Ehm... yes...
..
..
.
..
So whats your names by the way?"

And Thus our heroes gained their first Adventure.. but wait...
Who are these adventures of old times? For that.. I must confront the scribes that recorder their adventure...

Please, come forward and tell your tales:
Sister BeanDip, Sister Thinks and Brother Ask.. We hunger to hear your story

okay.. the roles have been made...
The three highest was in order Bean, Thinks and Ask.
So they each got a spot.
The roll is here *Roll here*
For the rest of you.. better luck next time.. You'll all get a +10 to get into my next game, just remember to tell me. (It should have been a d100 roll, not a d1000. typed to fast)

Bean, you got first pick of class, I guess you want to keep to your character sheet? Please, I've made 2 changes: Warriors of all classes gets 1 lesser penalty when using 2 weapons or two-handed weapons... And Clerics healing is now a minor action.
Then Thinks and then Ask...

please post your Characters in either the OOC HERE or in the Recrutemnt HERE

After a quick trip to the market and the adventures guild, all meet up at the One Eyed Bull Inn, to gain the last they need.
Image
"Look how shiny this sword is!"
"I am a shadow!, whus! whus!"
"Hehe, I'm glad to see you all enjoy your new status as adventures.
Viride, seeing as you are not currently playing with your weapons, I think I'll give you the map..
Here you go. Please be quick, I'd really like my sword back. Have a nice trip."

"Thank you. I'll make sure we all get safely back."

And so our brave adventures start the long trip to the lair of the Evil Mind Bender!
and they walk...
Image
"Hay Guys! Have you seen how big this sword is?"

and walk...
Image
"Oh man! I'm gonna cleave so many monster heads with this beauty!"
"I'm sure you are my friend."
"Ah! I spot a lake up ahead, A great place for a rest!"

And take a little rest!
Image
"Hay Guys, look, I pee on the grass.. hehe.. +10 to hit the grass.. I'm so great!"
"....
...
... So, Rifi? How do you keep the balance when you both throw and slash at the same time?."

"I Don't know... its just comes natural to me!"

And after a short while, they finally make it to the small stronghold of the Mind Bender.
Image
"I' cannot believe this was just 15 minutes from town, and no one ever mentioned it before?"
"I Know what you mean.. sounds weird right?"
"Hehe.. there is only one lonely orc! this is gonna be like a piece of beef!"
"?..."
"?...."
...
.
...
"Any ways.. what our attack plan? front, back? or?"

*whisper* "Oh, I am so gonna chop him up. Look at him... all smug and green, acting like he's better than me... Yeah, yeah, let's see you think you're better than me when I decapitate you with my sword, my beautiful sword... Gonna chop you into bits. Little tiny bits... */whisper*

"I don't think we should split up this early. How about we toss a rock to make him come down and investigate the noise and then I CHOP HIM INTO BITS?"

"I am as silent as the night! Quiet as a shadow! Sneaky as... a ... Um... sneaky... guy... Anyway, I can TOTALLY sneak round the back. I could ring the bell to let you guys know it's safe and - Oh! That probably wouldn't be too smart huh... "

"Ring the bell. If no one answers then we know it's safe. If anyone does answer, claim to be there to deliver some new swords. If they let you in then we will deliver the swords right into their ugly faces."

"Well, I'm going to take a quick look around the back and see if I can see anything! If I get into trouble I'll yell and run back to you guys? Ok? Ok."

Rafi employs his sneakiness and tries to creep up to the back door without being seen. If he makes it, he'll listen at the door and see if he can hear anyone inside.

Hroc will wait for Rafi, whispering sweet poetry to his sword and thinking about violence.

Cool.. roll 1d6 + 1d(stealth) to get to the door unnoticed
and 1d6 + 1d(search) to listen at the door...
(I roll the spot and attention rolls, as their results are secret.)

"Shit yeah!"

Rafi mentally high-fives himself and VERY quietly checks to see if the door is locked. He will NOT open it yet though.

occ I could work, but I think it would be better if we form a distraction first,
then when the orcs are paying attention to us you could sneak in from the back, maby even stab them if we need to

OOC: Should this be in the OOC Thread? Also, I think that we are too low level to safely split up, especially in a dungeon that we have no concept of design, number of enemies, alarm systems, rooms, traps, etc. Let's all go in the back.

Ok, well I'll try and do two things then if you guys are going to come in round the back way.

1. Rafi will use his lockpick to unlock the door.
2. Listening carefully for the guard above (and hiding as appropriate), Rafi will wave the others over to the door as soon as he thinks it's safe (i.e. he can't sense anyone coming).
