First question comes from LAYF:
LooksAtYouFunny wrote:We have 2 XP... do we get XP each round? And.. skills.. do we discover those, or do we have to develop hem?
Both assumptions are correct.
You get 1 XP every turn, maybe more on special events, like a victory over a monster.

You can gather skills on many ways:
- autodidactic - by doing something repeatedly until you get the option to buy the appropriate skill with your xp. You can choose to not do it, it then will be put on the list of possible skills.
- by being taught - learn it from somebody who already knows it. This is faster for the one who wants to learn it, but it does not allow both to do other tasks. You pay for it with your xp once the teaching and learning is done.
- by rare special events - no description for this yet.

Added this information to the SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES part in the rule book.

Yes, that is why I PMed all of you. But nevermind, the others stepped in and voted for you. Nice to have you back. :D

Don't forget to post something for this turn, I might update it again today, since everybody else has posted already.

To be honest I did not think about such a limit yet. For now, I think 4, counting the tools and blocks as 1 each. Not counting the team ressources. You can carry 3 units of things that do not count in blocks for free, like food, lumber, construction stone. Above that, each broached multiple of 4 counts as 1 block.

For example:
1 pick
3 units of seeweed
3 food

are okay, but only 1 food more means: you are overloaded.

Same for
1 pick
1 hatched
2 stone
3 construction stone.

Fine until you pick up one food or another construction stone.

Let's see how this rule proves itself.

Your examples have confused me more than helped. You said that we could carry 4 blocks or one tool above then when we have three blocks you say we can't carry more.

I don't see how this can be true with current rules.

Sorry. Okay, let me try to clear it out.

There are things that count in blocks, like log, stone, iron, seeweed. You harvest 1 block, you get 1 unit in your inventory. And then there are the resources you get when you split up this blocks, like food, lumber and construction stone. Of them you usually get more than one out of 1 block. 3 for turning seeweed into food, 4 for wood to lumber and stone to construction stone.

1 tool => 1 block
1 wood / stone / mineral => 1 block
1 mineling => 2 blocks
<= 3 food / construction stone / lumber => 0 blocks. (This is why i said the first 3 UNITs of them are free to carry. Might change that rule if it is too confusing).
> 3 food / construction stone / lumber => as many blocks as (their number / 4) .

Then better to measure block materials in blocks and other materials in units or something else.
Like this:
1 pick
3 blocks of seaweed
3 (units of) food

Updated the team ressource tab in the game so the unit-ressources are seperated from the block-ressources. Hope that helps. :)

Looks, you can only crouch 10 blocks per turn. You need two turns to go through the tunnel and another two to get back.

The light blue stuff is no water, only the dark blue. But the seaweed is wet enough to give you enough water. :)
I also noticed I was writing seaweed wrong the whole time so far. :>

There was a little miscalculation of the seaweed, I added the amount Boomy and Hack harvested to the team ressources but did not delete it from them. Now it is correct and balanced. Since you have to eat this turn, make sure you harvest next turn, else food ressources might get scarce.

I will give you connectivity for both frames (sides of the tunnel) so nobody becomes hungry because of my fault.

I think three-person boat is fine, so we can transport big quantities of items or multiple minelings.
I don't know how many blocks it must be.
One block per mineling to keep it simple. This also means that each block who doesn't carry a mineling, can carry 6 blocks, since a mineling equals two blocks and his inventory can contain 4.

So a boat for 3 minelings, can either carry:

- 0 minelings, 18 blocks.
- 1 mineling, 12 blocks (+4 in his inventory = 16 overall)
- 2 minelings, 6 blocks (+8 in their inventories = 14 overall)
- 3 minelings, 0 blocks (+12 in their inventories = 12 overall)

But since I expect most of you not dropping and picking up your tools all the time, forget about the brackets. ;)
