Goblins Minesweepers - A New Adventure (Turn 11)

Turn 11

Oops attempts to save Tries, which normally wouldn't work from a corner, but it turns out to be not an event of saving at all! Oops recieves no XP, but is now a proud owner of [Throwing Net], which remains in her active inventory. She is still delirious from the poison.
Tries-and-Dies promptly moves to B5. (And he is still sick.)
Flags Mines would gladly accept Tries' call, but he never stated where he would go to do so. Since Tries is no longer in trouble, Flags decides he stays where he is, as there aren't much left to do where the others are, anyway.
Goska Bluey jumps to B3.

Blitz Craig walks over to B1. Dum-de-dum.
Oh See That Shiny moves to D1, uncovering a "1". He also learns why is this map called the road of the forgotten. It is actually the road of the forgotten warrior, whose body lied beneath that tile. Well, it turns out for some dark, tainted reason, he became a revenant! It awakes with an unworldly screech, stunning the players who have yet to act. It also wakes a skeleton bowman on F6! +1XP

Finds Mines is stunned, and cannot act.
No-Legs is stunned, and cannot act. The pygmy on her head keeps gnawing, but only manages to damage her well kept friseur! That ungodly beast!

AHHHHH! Run away! No, seriously, I know I'm out of range right now, but can I shoot diagonally?

Since this pygmy is more annoying than anything, No-Legs is moving to c4.

Nope, it is keeping her from jumping (as she is heavier than expected), and it cannot be shot (it is too near). It might try to pry the arrow out of No-Leg's hand if she tries to shoot something else, but don't take it for granted. Maybe it just wants a hug. :paranoia:

In the resources thread, at the items, there is a spoilered part where I sum up the item information you guys unlock each round. (The current round / chapter is not there). Quoting from there:
Bow: Can shoot in any straight direction to 3 movement distance away. Damage depends on the arrows used. Arrows may break upon impact. Requires clear line of sight to the target, fellow players do not count as obstacle.
This means that yes, you can shoot straight diagonally, but the arrow will travel only 1 tile, as the next tile is 4 movement distance away. You can shoot "not quite diagonally" too (at a tile at "L shape" just like the knight moving in chess). Shooting even further requires a better bow or more strength.


EDIT 2:
After a quick glance through the achievements I realized I forgot to give out the following ones:

Goska Bluey: "We Need No Question Marks", for finding a quest item.

(This would have been a spoiler during the previous game and I forgot to reward it once the round finished.)

Oops: "Scavenger", for obtaining a non-treasure map item.

I didn't specify spawning with any items, but if Goska still spawned with her whip and Y-stick, she will attempt to dowse with her Y-stick after jumping to D3. If not, you may want to edit the items shown to be in her possession.

Also, BeanDip, my advice for next turn would be for you to go to E5 even though it may be the slightly more likely spot to be a bomb.

If you don't say what you want to spawn with, then you will spawn with previous items.

Starting from tomorrow (Wednesday) evening I will be gone for 3 weeks, holidays. I will be back on the 29th or 30th. In case the new game starts before that, put Flags on the waiting list.

Is there any reason why there hasn't been any progress in this game for about 3 weeks? At this rate we'll never get to the big, joint map, where Stumbles can participate again...

Not sure if this is still the reason, but Looks had mentioned connection problems in his area in the Random Chat thread a while back. And he last visited on the 3rd.
