Use loincloth like bandage. :freaky: because soiled underwear is obviously the best bandaid.

Examine the nearby plants (tasting, smelling), try to create a poultice using the loincloth and said plants(they could contain healing properties).

Otherwise, i second Burns motion to try to staunch the bleeding using the loincloth.

Look inside bag.

Loot the bag and carefully check the hole in the tree too. If it isn't full of bees, it's the kind of secret place that people (like dead guy) might store valuable / useful things.

let's see if we can find something better than the dirty loincloth for a bandage, or at least find somewhere to clean it.

Supporting Through, and we might be able to use that cloth as a bandage, too.
I have no idea what I'm doing, and IT IS GLORIOUS!

Going with the idea of looting the bag to see what's in it, and checking in the tree. If there's nothing CLEAN to use as a bandage... he would be much more sensible to use the long plants nearby to staunch the bleeding. Getting an infection from a dirty loincloth is a very stupid idea!

When he's feeling better, he might want to try throwing something up into the tree to knock some of those fruit down. He'll need food to help recover.

If anything... he should switch his loincloth for the other goblin's - at least he would be infecting himself with his OWN germs, and maybe be less likely to get an infection.

But using either of the loin cloths is truly a dumb idea! Shame on you all for trying to kill him!

I have to say, the replies we've been getting so far are just as hilarious and original as what I thought they'd be.

I realize I'm late to the party, but my first thought is that his name is Sees Darkness. Wether that pertains to the blacking out or to witnessing ( or causing?) the death of his friend(?) remains to be determined...

I also agree that the loincloth idea is misguided, but it is funny, so I'll second it! :)

I will now assume the bag on the ground is magical, when looking inside you will find nothing. Thus, as To-be-named reaches toward the bag, he must already know what he wants before he reaches inside. He desires a potion of healing to be in the bag and as he reaches inside, there it is. After taking the healing potion from the magic bag he should drink it.

You decide to put on the loincloth as a bandana, at least to stop the bleeding and protect the wound from further harm.
You tie it pretty tight, and it stays that way. It hurts a little bit, but you know it's for the better.
Your gut tells you that maybe it's not a good idea to use a loincloth as a healing device, but what the hell, you don't have much o a choice, do you?

Image
You figure you must be looking pretty BADASS with your new gear. Too bad there's no water nearby to take a look at yourself.
You try to listen if there's some "watery noises" nearby, but can't recognize anything like that. Many birds are singing, though.
You remember your arm still kinda hurts, but you don't have anymore cloth to cover it. It will have to wait for now. At least it doesn't luck so bad as your head wound, though the burning sensation is puzzling.

Image
With nothing else but grass and trees around you, you decide it's time to look into the bag for more resources. Maglubiyet knows (hey, you remember THAT name!) that dead-guy gave you everything he had on him.
It's made of sturdy leather, and a crimson stain covers up most of it's left side. The liquid's kinda sticky too.
Besides from that, it looks like a pretty dependable bag.

Image
And holy cow, isn't it full of interesting stuff too!
What should you inspect first?

Grab the bug thing quick before it leaps away!! Phew, that was close!
Use your own loincloth to bandage up your arm.

Take the bloody bag, or at least it'll be bloody soon . . . And the see if there's anything in the corpses mouth, like some poison or a ball of death, whatnot or such. Enjoy. Or full cavity search . . . of all the secret pockets of the bag. Then read the note, yep.
