Sluj moves up with Gomz and gets ready to strike at whatever's making the deep noises.

Readied Attack: 1D20+3 = [5]+3 = 8
1D6+1 = [4]+1 = 5

((I'm going to presume a readied attack negates the second attack of the newt body.))

Underslem moves away from the angry grunting but keeps in sight and prepares another firebolt for anything that comes out!

Longer pig attack!: 1D20+4 = [16]+4 = 20
1D10 = [8] = 8

(Fred who was distracted by the musings of memory of a female fire newt...)

Fred is flat footed from the sudden attack but now joins the others and readies an attack at the threat that may be emerging from the undergrowth!

Initiative _: 1D20 = [16] = 16

Attack: 1D20+3 = [10]+3 = 13
1D6+1 = [4]+1 = 5

Fred, Sluj and Slem stand ready.

((Yeah, you can ready an attack, but not a multiattack.))

The plucky little pseudo-gnome readies to fight.

Scimitar attack (held): 1d20+4 = [13] = 17

Scimitar damage 1d6+2 = [5] = 7

He seems to be getting the hang of the sharpie, doing occasional flourishes to loosen up.

A massive form pushes through the undergrowth, revealing itself to be a much larger and tuskier version of the piggy that Gomz just felled. It pushes easily through the underbrush and rumbles after him, slashing with its tusks as the party swings scimitars and fires off a firebolt at it, the flurry of attacks is enough to bring it up short, its attack missing the little named guy as it bellows in pain.

An answering call sounds in the distance...

Charging Gomz: 1D20+5 = [3]+5 = 8

1D20+3 = [19]+3 = 22

Gnomz gives a martyred look skyward, looks momentarily puzzled by the action, then readies himself for another beast.
This time, he keeps his sharpie handy, but readies to cast Blind again at whatever comes through the brush, under the theory that it'll be harder for the beast to run him down if he can't be seen. (held action: Blind).

A second large beast tears through the brush, and Gomz tries to make it's vision go dark, but it thrashes its even tuskier head and charges him.

Con save_: 1D20+3 = [13]+3 = 16

A tusk catches him and flings him up for his shattered body to fall at its feet the gnome form has taken too much damage, and reverts to a translucent gelatinous mass that sloughs off, leaving a battered Gomz behind in his natural form.

Charging Gomz: 1D20+5 = [13]+5 = 18
4D6+3 = [5, 6, 6, 4]+3 = 24

Underslem smiles as the new meat tube approaches, it fades somewhat as Gnomz gets it's meat body broken.

It throws a poorly aimed firebolt and moves to a tree to climb. A thick tree.

Even bigger pig attack firebolt blast!: 1D20+4 = [3]+4 = 7
1D10 = [4] = 4
