Slizard is ready to use its new tail.))

<Any still hurt, hide from angry foods. With strong forms, others help hunt. Big forms hard to reach small space though.>

((So heading to the ape room? I think Underling had keys for it? It's been a while, but we'll say that's the case, so our firenewt would be able to unlock it, and then who is taking point first through the door?))

Gomz will bring up the rear and keep an eyestalk peeled for anything trying to come up behind.

Slizard is first in the door, and is greeted by a corridor lined in a dozen cages, their doors hanging open. Each is big enough to comfortably fit one of the not-masters, which as he recalls, were roughly the same size as his former flesh as Underslem. There is a work bench and bookshelf along the left wall beyond the cages, their contents strewn about. On the right wall is a cabinet that looks to have contained food for the not-masters? Bags and crates have been torn open and left empty on the floor. There is a doorway that opens up into what seems to be a taller chamber beyond.

Slizard goes and tests the door to the tall room, ready to stab not masters.

It swings open readily, and you see to your left, that the room is thirty feet or so high, and there are what look to be fake trees and vines connected together, and at floor level, some sort of large boxy device against the far wall with a chute and a bunch of knobs, levers and the like beside it. There are some not-masters lounging on platforms up above, and a large not-master that is lounging in a bed of debris. It picks its head up, beady eyes peering from beneath silvered fur, and gives a grunt. Others turn and look as well.

((Give me a Perception check for Slizard?))

(Not sure of the stats? Standard big lizard or? Don't matter!))

Perception: Perception: 1D20 = [1] = 1

Slizard messages back what it sees and starts to approach the silver furred not master food, super casual like.

As you approach, it rolls to its feet and pounds its chest.

"Grruuuug! Gruuh guh!"

Sluj does a round of the cage room before following Slizard's path out into the larger room.

Slizard flicks its tongue at the big, gray not master to show it is unimpressed. It waggles its sword tail in defiance and inches forward.

It picks up a chunk of desk and pulls its arm back threateningly, giving another grunt. The ones in the canopy cluster together and grunt and howl back and forth.

(( On the one hand, bagging the boss silverback could be useful. Smart for an animal, agile, immensely strong. Of course, the drawbacks for getting into a fight with one are the same items. ))

Slizard makes whatever noise it can, hoping it's siblings back it up.

(How far is Slizard away from it now?)
