Sluj manages to shake off the worst of the venom, and is still in his form.

Gomz tries to tusk his tormentor, but to no avail.

(Sorry, travel has made connecting to the forums difficult...)

Fred will attack...
Attack!: 1D20+3 = [16]+3 = 19
1D6+1 = [6]+1 = 7
1D20+3 = [9]+3 = 12
1D6+1 = [6]+1 = 7

Sluj starts circling around the beast and continues swinging wildly at it.

First attack: 1D20+4 = [7]+4 = 11
1D6+2 = [1]+2 = 3

Second attack: 2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [6, 6]+4 = 10
1D6+2 = [4]+2 = 6

Sluj flails about, while Slem blasts it with more fire, and Miasma runs up and gouges it good.

It spins to deal with the new attacker, lashing out with its pincers, one grabbing tight around one of Miasma's forelegs, while the other grabs at the shoulder!

Claws: 1D20+4 = [15]+4 = 19
1D8+2 = [7]+2 = 9
1D20+4 = [9]+4 = 13
1D8+2 = [5]+2 = 7

The tail whips forward and buries itself in the side of the big boar's abdomen, pumping Miasma full of toxins!

Sting: 1D20+4 = [13]+4 = 17
1D10+2 = [9]+2 = 11
4D10 = [5, 4, 10, 9] = 28 (DC 12 CON save for half!)

((CON save from Miasma, then Gomz!))

Gomz shake it's head to clear it, and then it's little piggy eyes seem to glow red.

<<NOT! AGAIN!!>>

Tusk attack: 1D20+5 = [20]+5 = 25 Crit!

Tusk attack crit!: 4D6+6 = [1, 3, 6, 4]+6 = 20

With a loud squeal of piggy rage, Gomz whips it's head around and gores the big bug, cracking the carapace and ripping into the soft tissues within. It's quite messy.
<<No bones. Unless these are bones?>> Gomz noses a piece of carapace.

Underslem pops out from its hiding place defensive location and runs forward licking its lips. It looks over at whatever the hard shelled and tailed thing was eating when it gets close enough.

It is sure to get a big handful of the thing's meat and nibbling on it.

<Great work! We did it! No problem! Do we eat it here or take it back with us so nothing bothers us.>

((How's it taste?))

((I'm going to say the carapace can function as 'bones' for the purposes of your physiology.))

It tastes like raw crab or lobster, but less briny.

Underslem gets another handful!

((What was the scorpion eating? Any bones there?))

A large lizard, it was feasting on the innards, so the bones are also intact.

Sluj digs its scimitar into a joint of the carapace, working it apart and chewing on the flesh beneath while continuing with dismantling, <Looked like no meat, but meat inside bones? Strange.>

<Got more meat here! Some big lizard.>

Underslem will, of course, taste the lizard.

((How big we talking? Could it haul the lizard back to the portal?))

<Sure!>

Underslem gets out its dagger and starts cutting off meat from the lizard.
