Re: Running the Monster Gauntlet: Escape (5e)
Once Sluj's turn rolls around, it will make a Pseudopod attack with priority on the one that got burnt over the grabbed one.
Pseudopod: 1D20+5 = [4]+5 = 9
1D4+3+1D4 = [2]+3+[1] = 6
Pseudopod: 1D20+5 = [4]+5 = 9
1D4+3+1D4 = [2]+3+[1] = 6

Re: Running the Monster Gauntlet: Escape (5e)
*HIIISSSSSS!*
Gomz is ticked again. He concentrates his attacks on the grappled giggler. If he shreds it with his claws, he'll aim his stinger at the last one.
claw attack 1: 1D20+4 = [18]+4 = 22
Claw damage 1: 1D8+2 = [8]+2 = 10
claw attack 2: 1D20+4 = [9]+4 = 13 ((Hit?))
Claw damage 2: 1D8+2 = [5]+2 = 7
sting attack: 1D20+4 = [10]+4 = 14
sting piercing damage: 1D10+2 = [4]+2 = 6
Poison damage (1/2 with Con save): 4D10 = [7, 7, 6, 2] = 22
Total damage: 45 hp w/o save, 34 with save.

Re: Running the Monster Gauntlet: Escape (5e)
((Since FRED didn't roll, I'll say that the one he hit takes the average damage for a firenewt spitball.))
The child hisses a burbling giggle as the fiery mass sears into it.
Sluj has a swing, but misses, while Gomz makes short work of the grabbed one, tearing it to shreds and releasing the inky mist, where it is absorbed by the other one, which swells in size much more rapidly than any of the other increases, with all of the mist from the defeated one fueling it, rather than being distributed across all of them.
It looms over eight feet tall, but still with the proportions of a child.
*teehee*
Gomz whirls and jams a stinger into it, pumping it full of toxins, but it giggles as it shrugs off the worst of the damage!
CON Save: 1D20+3 = [16]+3 = 19
It swings its dark blades, now grown to the size of shortswords, at Gomz.
*teehee*
The first blade sinks in between two plates of his carapace, the dark blade twisting among his insides, but the second one clatters off his exoskeleton.

Slem considers the chances it can get away but decides it had best help out. It slorps back and attacks against its better judgement.
Slem attacks!: 1D20+5 = [17]+5 = 22

Miasma will firstly move away, but then run towards her to get enough momentum to charge at the little/big girl.
1d20+5 = [18] = 23 2d6+3 = [3, 2] = 8 2d6 = [4, 1] = 5
Dc 13 or prone

Slem lashes at it, his pseudopod slapping wetly against the child. It slashes at Miasma as the whirl away to be able to charge, striking deep, but isn't able to withstand the boar, getting knocked to the ground!

(Er...I didn't see to roll for damage...))
Fred will attempt to use his scimitar to dice up the creature...
_: 1D20+4 = [6]+4 = 10
1D6+2 = [6]+2 = 8
1D20+4 = [6]+4 = 10
1D6+2 = [2]+2 = 4
But with advantage so re-roll...

_: 1D20+4 = [9]+4 = 13
1D6+2 = [3]+2 = 5
1D20+4 = [14]+4 = 18
1D6+2 = [3]+2 = 5
(apologies somehow that last roll doubled...trying to do rolls with my phone is hard...)

Re: Running the Monster Gauntlet: Escape (5e)
Sluj engulfs the child's head, spreading thin to wrap around, squeezing, squeezing until something gives and the sack of skin goes slack, the inky mist attempting to flow out the mouth and nostrils, visible within Sluj as it covers the face. Finding no exit there, as the rest of the body goes hollow within the sack of skin, the mist escapes out through various wounds on the body, but having no other children to flow into, swirls and condenses into the two dark, shadowy blades that drop clattering to the ground.

Gomz rips off a good sized chunk of lizard meat and leaves the rest to Slem. He goes over to the corner, chews it down and settles in place. <<Do we rest first? If we do I can help with getting more bones. Not so much if we don't.>>
