Lurn mumbles against his gag, but doesn't make any attempts at pulling the cuff loose, guessing that it's probably nailed down poorly for a reason.

If he can't see, he'd just be running into a wall and they capture him again. He'll keep walking.

((Hmm. She does see a very faint glow but I am not sure if that is enough for misty step? I will say yes so long as she teleports to the spot it is at, but also reserve the right to declare it as non-precedent setting. The gag is still in and she would have difficulty in properly saying whatever it is that is said but I'd like to give her a shot at this so roll a d20 and higher than a 14 Joe can get out what she needs to say to do the jump.
If you do manage to do the teleport you will need to give me a sleight of hand at disadvantage to get the hood off.
Also, it isn't Joe's turn yet in the order so other stuff might happen between now and then.))

Cougher comments,
"Wha? Ye ain't gonna even try? Lay down in that piss there with yer arm stretch all the way out and head towards meh voice an aye can probably reach yer gag so we can have a proper talk."
He bursts in a series of wet, hacking coughs.
Kroshav
► Show Spoiler
The voice leads Kroshav slowly on for a few hundred feet including a couple of turns before stopping and knocking on something softer than rock. A few moments later there is a whispered conversation in a language Kroshav doesn't know and Kroshav is ushered through a door frame. After another half a minute of whispering there is some movement and a new voice asks,
"I understand you wanted to speak to me and explain your mistake?"
Jaq

((You are in a hallway, sorry I didn't say that! So, moving SE would put you further down the hallway and let you get that shot as described, but since you are in a 10' wide hallway that goes as far as you can see to the south and north would you like to change your move? You hear some coughing coming from somewhere to the south now that you are in the hallway. There is also a room directly across from where you just emerged with some significant spider webbing in it.
You can roll the damage on the crossbow, 1d6+5, that was definitely a hit!))

The answer comes quickly, "No."
And is quickly followed by, "Who do you work for and why are you here?"
Kroshav can hear there is more than one person in the room with him.
Lurn
► Show Spoiler
As you lay down and stretch out your arm you feel rough fingers grab the side of your gag and pull your head at an uncomfortable angle before twisting. A wave of coughing stops whatever the hand is doing and Lurn is pretty sure he can feel the side of his face getting lightly sprinkled with spit. Once the coughing subsides the fingers get about doing something behind his neck and the gag loosens enough he is able to spit it out.
"If aye was ye, aye get outta that puddle of piss now. So *cough* what brings a hobgoblin here?"

((I let you get a bit ahead of the others while I waited on resolving some things with NSF. You were effectively giving me your next round actions.))
Joe manages to get the words out and appears over the barely visible glow of the bearing.
((You can now pull the hood off but getting the gag completely out will be a sleight of hand at disadvantage due to the damage to your hands. Presuming you pull the hood off-))
Joe looks around without the hood but doesn't see anything within the dim light provided by the bearing. She does hear the sounds of fighting to her left though.

Lurn pulls himself back to the wall, "I'm no hobgoblin. I am a firbolg. And I don't clearly know what brought me here. My companions and I were investigating buried ruins when we came across a horde of giant spiders. There were too many of them for our handful to deal with, and they had us paralysed when some elves came along. I assume they are our captors, since they speak elvish. You, I'm guessing, are a dwarf? I think I caught you speaking dwarvish before."

HP, not certain...I gained back 23 HP from the hit dice/long rest.
When the first drow ends up ending turn in melee, Jaq uses his skirmisher smarts to move away from him and get out of melee again.

"Right. Who are the five that you work for?"

Seems like ye pissed them off right by fighting their precious spiders. They caught meh group sneaking round...musta been month ago. Maybe three, meals ain't real regular."
He bursts into a long coughing fit then asks,
"So, what ye think the chances of yer lizard friend making it back are? Or maybe not coming back with all his bits?"

Joe fiddles with the knot holding the gag mostly in place but the blood on her hands, and the pain, makes a tough task even harder.
Scooping up the bearing she peers around the darkness and doesn't see any movement but she can definitely hear fighting to her left but it is beyond the meagre range of light provided by her bearing.
((You still have your movement))

Jaq will run for it at this point.
He is already out of melee range due to skirmisher feat, so he will run as fast as he can down the hall, hoping to find a turn in the hall, not trying to run into a room to get stuck inside, unless he is able to get out of the drow's line of sight. At that point he will try to run into a random room and hide. He will use his cunning action to run further away and hopefully get out of their sight. And see a bit of where in the world they took him.
I will not be around much this weekend to post.

"That makes sense. It would have been good if one of our number hadn't panicked and set fire to the webs as soon as we saw webbing, but I suppose the drow would have taken issue with our presence regardless. As for my friend... Well, one of the drow had been saying they should have cut off an arm or nailed him down, and I could tell they had no intention of actually letting him explain himself. If he comes back, he'll be in poor shape. Judging by how quickly they were on him, I assume how loosely my shackle is nailed down is a trap, so I couldn't see any good in going after him even if I could see."

"Ye went out of yer ways to make them angry by attacking the spiders? Haha *cough, cough, cough*"
He spits something thick out in the direction Lurn was just laying when he woke up.
"Drow cut meh leg off when they grabbed us. Its why they don't bother with the full chain kit ye got. Just waiting for them to kill meh like they did the others. So far as that nail in the wall goes, they are just piss poor at that kind of stuff. Doubt they planned for it and after they torture people they don't often have the strength to even get outta that."
There is a pause for more coughing and then the dwarf saws,
"Figured the Drow cut off yer arm there but what'd they do to yer eyes that ye can't see?"

Okay... Heading south you see another pair of doors across from each other and a hallway intersecting the one you're on. The hallway continues further south. Roll me a history and a perception check please.

You take your meagre light and walk over towards the sounds of the fight and your light shows the faint outlines of a door and the back of someone standing in the door in dark armor holding a crossbow. As you approach with the light they become aware of you and half turn and curse.

"We'd not realised the spiders were pets at the time. The others probably still haven't. But no, I lost my arm long ago, and my eyes are fine, it's just pitch dark in here. That or the spiders bit me so much that the venom paralysed my eyes somehow, if that were at all how it worked. I guess the drow figured they didn't need to bother with carving up a group that couldn't even handle their pets. Which is good news, since I haven't learned to regrow limbs yet. Kroshav gets the strong impression the drow means Kroshav is the minion rather than the golems.
