Kroshav digs the gag out of his throat, and sees about getting his legs untied, first. If he's able to remove the chain, he will, otherwise step back over it to get it in front of him if he can, and wrap up any loose bits around his fists and forearms.
He'll feel for the wall and explore the space, seeing if Cougher is in the same area, or in a separate cell or the like.

Kroshav

Kroshav pulls the spit covered gag out and waddle steps over the chain on his wrists. Feeling the manacles on his wrists he quickly determines he will need some tools to get them off, or maybe a key? He doesn't feel any spot for a key in his quick check though. Feeling his legs he finds a similar situation but with only a short chain between them.
He can get a loop of chain around each fist but much more than that and he wouldn't be able to swing unrestricted.
((Which direction alone the wall would Kroshav take, right or left?))
Jaq

The expected pain doesn't arrive but a wave of nausea does. The nausea quickly fades to darkness.
Jaq awakes someplace else lying on stone. He is gagged and can feel that his arms and legs have been tightly bound together. He has a bag over his head and something has been rammed into his mouth.
His shoulders both ache and his mouth feels like he probably vomited at some point. Listening he can faintly hear muffled breathing not too far off.
Lurn

The lizard is rattling around something fierce and you can hear shuffling. Cougher is silent, except for the occasional cough.
Joe

Joe feels even more ill as everything starts to fade.
She comes back to awareness in much the same condition as before except she is now upside down with incredible pain in her hands. Trying to flex them shoots agony through her body. Gently moving her fingers she can feel that someone has put three or four thick nails through both hands and into the wall before bending the tops so she can't just pull them through.
(-7 hp!)
As she hangs there she does, unlike before, hear muffled breathing not too far off. She has no idea if she has been moved though.

Jaq will first listen for about two minutes once he awakens and just see if he can hear anything other than the breathing.
He will then start to test his bonds. Is he just tied up, or tied down to something? Can he work on spitting out whatever is in his mouth? He will try using his training to escape his bonds. (rolled slight of hand, if that's not right, adjust accordingly)
Slight of hand, escape: 1D20+8 = [14]+8 = 22

Taking a cue from the cougher, Lurn just stays quiet and waits. Probably best to avoid drawing attention to himself with the lizard's escape attempt.

After a few stumbling steps along the wall Kroshav's right hand finds only air. Stretching and feeling he finds the other side of what is most likely a doorway, sans door.
Cougher starts saying something at a measured pace.

Cougher starts counting quietly.
"One...two...three...four...five...cough...cough...eight..."
Lurn can hear the lizard making shuffling and clinking noises.

Joe asks a garbled question to the room and awaits a response that hopefully won't involve more pain.

There is nothing other than the slightly muffled breathing in those two minutes of listening and Jaq begins exploring his bonds. His hands have been lashed together to the elbow and have been connected with what seems to be a short metal chain to something that doesn't give when tested, maybe the wall? His legs have also been bound together but they don't seem to have been attached to anything and he can move them, together, freely enough.
The gag is deep and has been affixed in place with either a knot complicated knot he can only just reach behind his neck. He is able to roll in such a way that he can move his arms more than likely intended and is able to get a finger under his hood to flip it up and loosen his gag enough to spit it out.
Looking around he sees that he is in a 5 by 5 stone room with a small female, a halfling or gnome, that has been stripped, hung upside down and had their hands nailed to the wall. Blood runs from the holes in her hands to the floor forming a puddle beneath her. They have a hood on their head as well and as Jaq is appraising them makes some garbled noises.
On another wall a corpse molders, slumped in on itself. It is impossible to tell what race they were in their current state of decay without getting closer.
An open door lays to Jaq's right and he can now see the chain holding him in place to the wall attached to his arm bindings and the leather cords holding his legs from the ankles to his knees together. He can't reach the bindings on his legs with his hands without some serious twisting and flexibility.
((Jaq is still firmly wrapped up at this point.))

What's that nonsense?

He'll see if he can tell what the gag was (eg, just a bit of rag, or so something nastier?), and drop it in the head bag, taking it with him, using it to muffle the clanking of chains about his arms if he can.

Keeping quiet, Jaq looks around the room even more closely. IF he is able to somehow get free, is there anything laying about in the room that could be used as a weapon? He then looks to see how the chain is attached to the wall.
Investigation: 1D20+1 = [3]+1 = 4
Next he will try putting his weight and strength into try to pull the chain tethering him to the wall, from the wall.
strength: 1D20+1 = [20]+1 = 21
Finally, he will try using his dexterity and acrobatic training to wrangle his hands to where they need to be so he can untie his leg restraints.
acrobatics: 1D20+5 = [3]+5 = 8

Cougher is probably cheering him on, in a weird sorta way.
Shuffling past the door Kroshav pauses to feel the drool covered gag. It has the give of leather, really wet slick leather. It also has marks like it's been throughly chewed. More than Kroshav thinks he probably had time to do.
It is an awkward mess to try and hold everything to stop the clanking but it maybe kind of helps. As he moves further he bumps into a waist height barrier, to which Cougher pauses his cheering to chuckle. Cougher is definitely closer now.
Cougher suddenly stops chuckling a says something sharp and for the first time tries to muffle his cough...
Lurn

There is the sound of more clanking around in the darkness beyond his hood accompanied by the count of Cougher. The clanking is getting nearer when Cougher suddenly laughs at something then stops hissing,
"Spork, they were fast."
He starts to cough and for the first time tries to muffle it.
Jag

The room is bate except for the corpse and the other prisoner. Maybe the chains on the dead prisoner could be a weapon?
Turning his attention to the metal work on the wall holding the chain he isn't able to determine much but by shifting himself around he is able to get his feet against the wall to help pull. Behind him the other prisoner gives a gurgling, wet and muffled scream. Looking back Jaq doesn't see any change in her status though. Gripping the chain while jerking and pushing with his legs the fastener comes out of the wall with a screech.
Now that he is free from the wall he can fairly easily get at the bindings on his legs to begin untying them.

Cougher whispers something incomprehensible back to Kroshav. Another voice, much colder than Cougher's but also in a language Kroshav understands says,
"You look to have lost your hood and gag. Let me help you."
Another voice in the same direction as the first, towards the door, says something that Kroshav doesn't understand. It sounds pretty angry though.
(You are in combat now, Kroshav is up first.)
Lurn

You hear Kroshav loudly declare,
"I don't know what you're saying. So you speak common? Or draconic?"
From a short distance away. Cougher whispers back, in dwarven,
"Behind ye lizard!"
A third voice with a very cold tone adds,
"You look to have lost your hood and gag. Let me help you."
A fourth voice, this one angry and speaking in Elven says,
"I told you we should have cut off an arm or nailed him to the floor like we did with the other one."
(You are technically in combat but...ya. So what do you want to do?)

You notice the halfing or gnome on the wall starts thrashing around as much as she can. It looks painful and is making a lot of noise.

There is no response to her insult and she is moving around and making enough noise that she can't really hear anything either. Plus she can feel the blood pounding in her head from being upside down.

Lurn, rather alarmed at realising it's Kroshav making an escape attempt, and hearing the elves suggestions, tries to stretch his head toward his hands, to pull the hood free, but his attempt amounts to nothing more than feet scrabbling at the ground and his head thumping against the wall.

It seems he hasn't recognized your stripped blood drenched body. It might be the beard throwing him off.

Don't think he'd go all out, no one having swung at him yet, he's not in full combat mode, so just taking the Dodge action for now.
