TWSK Round 81 (Round Over!)

Post by lingrem » Tue Mar 12, 2013 4:48 am

Welcome to the Brand-Spanking-New Gobl'Inn!

Last week, the Gobl'Inn got trashed. Lucky for all of you, it was in virtual reality! So it's still all shiny!

Welcome! In this forum game, some of the players take on the roles of serial killers trying to kill everybody else. The "innocent" players, known as citizens, try to guess who the killers are by looking for clues in the descriptions of the kills. Every round lasts about a week and requires you to post every day, preferably more. To sign up, copy the numbered player list and add your name at the bottom.

If you are a new player, please read the rules. TLDR: The host is always right.

The basic rules of the game are as follows:

1. Every kill must have a clue pointing towards who you are.
2. If you are interested in the killer role, please PM the host with your dummy kill shortly after you sign up.
3. Roles are assigned randomly by the host.
4. If you do not vote twice in a row, or abstain for two rounds, you will be sacrificed and given to the Ghosts to control.
5. The Golden Trowel will be given randomly to someone who submits a dummy kill
6. Votes must be in by the designated time.
7. The host is always right and may not disclose if there are any twists in the round.
8. If no one sends in a dummy kill, the host will randomly assign the Killer Role to someone, or will take possession of them.

To see a list of roles, and the full list of rules, click here!

A list of all the past winners and hosts can be found in the Rules Thread: Past Winners/Hosts post. (Still not ressurected I think)

Sign Ups will stay open until Monday at 12:30pm GMT.

Please don't be afraid to try out the killer role - last round I only had one person send in a kill! If I don't get any kills, I WILL assign someone the role, because next week I am going to be too busy to be able to handle writing kills :P So you may as well come up with ideas now! [/quote]

I preemptively vote Wolfie. You see that smile. She has a plan, she do, a plan to kill us all.

Didn't you read the fine print in the round this time? She inserted a rule that said "Everybody can preemptively vote in a TWSK round, as these votes don't matter, and the points don't count."

Sorry for the late posting everyone.. it's been a long week last week, and a very busy weekend.

And then, of course, I had to worry about ensuring the cleanliness and respectability of this establishment. Please treat it nicely!

Kill of the Vengeful Spirit

In the Gobl'Inn, beneath blue sky,
The killer lurked; his victims, fried.
Whilst I played at private eye,
Murderous effort 'twas applied,
He slew me then, ere I fly;
Such arrogance needs must die.
Vengeance is my battle cry;
My foe ne'er shall slip by.
Citizen, you'd do well to comply,
Lest you become another fall guy.

Victim: Acts-Suspiciously

Another ghost??? I thought I was over ghosts....I built this Inn a bit further away from the graveyard.... but... clearly not far enough! Please find this Vengeful Spirit for me, will you?

Bob, Lunix and jib have participated in the haikus, should the poetry be a clue. Otherwise...

Wolfie and Odd are generally the better of us at find clue, so far as I'm aware.

Regardless, I'm sticking with my pattern.

It sounds like VS was recently killed and had been the Detective in a recent round.

for right now, I'm going to abstain. At least until I can go archive diving :)
