^I'm not sure what you have against zephyr burns....you tried to grapple her without her consent.....she reacted poorly based on her background events...

But shes far smarter than wanting to only kill you. :D

Well, that's how you RP, sure :)

But you still murdered a guy - it's not fair to get upset if other people (IC) are pissed at you for it, and in a fight-to-the-death arena, assume you're another enemy.

to be honest...I'm not angry...

I'm just very defensive over my characters, which makes me look into ways to keep them alive...it's protection of my mental property....not anger. Perhaps this makes me a bad person...but I'm not angry or upset about it.

I hope you are happy Badge, you might not go down alone after this. I guess he's called Martin the mad for a reason with all of this going down :P

What Burns did/acted upon was a bit in the meta, it seems to me, which is why I wanted a perception roll in the first case to check if it was within reason for her to know what had gone on in the arena. Since I've set the DC to 10+ (1 per 10 ft away)+1 for noise there was a good chance people didn't hear it (like all the commoners not around the death dog haven't heard it).
If they had just yelled it out then yeah it wouldn't be a big deal to hear it, but fighting is going on with a lot of frightened people making noise and also a crowd cheering on the slaughter. I'm not sure if the DC is too hard for 5e as I've not really noticed any suggestions on how to select a DC so I'm just going for what I remember from 3.5 dialed down a bit.

I'm also not going to disallow this behaviour as I find it fun to see what happens in this setting but I hope all involved in this game won't take any pvp personally whether it was planned by me or as a sudden surprise.

For new characters I want everything rerolled, but I'll be kind enough to let you keep the xp :P

For DCs, the rule of thumb is 10 is easy, 15 moderate and 20 is hard (for early level PCs).

I thought the guy was shouting. Sorry! But if I didn't hear it I would kept sneaking to two headed.

Well he was, but there's a lot of other noise in the arena and around it so it's hard to hear even with shouting. But the dice said your heard it so no problems there :P

I have a question regarding this ability:
Halfling Nimbleness. You can move through the
space of any creature that is of a size larger than yours.
Does this mean I move through as if normal terrain? Or that I can attack from there? If not then what does that mean?

Normally: "You can move through a non-hostile creatureÔÇÖs space. In contrast, you can move through a hostile creature's space only if the creature is at least two sizes larger or smaller than you. Remember that another creatureÔÇÖs space is difficult terrain for you."

Just popping in to post interest in joining at the next available opportunity. o:)

(Is it alright if I go ahead and roll stats now? I'll hold off on posting them until the next actual opening, but they'll be under the name Narok on CoyoteCode. Got a concept in mind, I just hope the dice cooperate...)

Go ahead, I could magically have you transform into one of the commoners in this battle. The mid battle thing is mostly for the future

The first one which would be this turn wasn't a success and the rest only causes you to be stable and at 0 hp so you will still be unconscious. Had you gotten a crit you would get back to 1 hp that turn

Okay, got it!

Rolling both options (links in titles)...
7x 4d6 Assignment6x 5d6 Straight

12 [s]7[/s] 18 17 13 13 12STR: 15 DEX: 12 CON: 15 INT: 14 WIS: 13 CHA: 10
Neither's too shabby at all, but I've got Wizardly plans, which means having a solid INT score. And having a 17 and an 18 before stat modifiers is a bit too tempting, so 4d6 array it is!

Name: Narok Mantlebeard
Gender: Male
Race: Mountain Dwarf
Attributes: 15 STR / 12 DEX / 20 CON / 17 INT / 12 WIS / 13 CHA
Background: Sage (Arcana, History)
Intended Class: Wizard (Necromancer)
