The warhorse skele looks towards the brown bear and satyr, then towards the elk. There is an evil flare to its eye. It charges towards the elk.

And I believe I had a readied action to punch when I got close enough to something? (Sorry thinks, don't think my guy can tell what is what)

Dang it guys, I said I'd be protecting that elk! I got mauled by a bear to protect that elk!

I am sorry! I wanted to maul the bear but this skelehorse had other ideas. Unless I can tell what is what (and tell the elk is mostly harmess, I'd rather go after bear). The bear should not get free exp from this so I won't let it.

Simple logistics. Skelehorse is the only thing fast enough to run down the elk. Figure better do that before tangling with something that could damage/kill the horse. Besides, it'll give the Thri-keen something to do. Nothing personal Thinks.

The skelehorse gives a hollow, wheezing attempt at a whinny as it charges the Elk.

((Skelehorse can still make an attack, at disadvantage, and Animated Armor knows that it is an elk, and can attack or not...))

The Elk shifts just out of where the Skelehorse's hooves swipe.

((Ah, right you are... rather than counting, I used one of my overlays, but neglected to properly use radius, not diameter. Lurks, your attack can't have happened, but do you want to dash to get there, or stop midway through the gold segment?))

Hmmmmm...Thinks has had it rough so nah. I won't use my readied sction to hit her. However do I have neough movement to whack a bear?

((It takes half your movement to dismount, and until I hear whether Lurks wants to dash or not, I don't know where you end up exactly, but either way you'd come up well short of reaching the bear.))

thats ok me being terrible at this game is no reason for you guys not to take the easy points! don't worry about it at all, I'm not offended or anything

((FYI, i don't think you're necessarily next to me yet... depends on lurks, but you guys have a ton of ground to cover to get near me and my elk self. Also I'm currently dodging so even if you do end up in melee range, you have to roll attacks at disadvantage.

EDIT: Unless I've miscounted, I don't think you guys can reach me even if lurks dashes and you use half speed (after dismounting) to come at me. You'll be close, but I don't think you can quite do it...))

(Lurks actually can't reach /anyone/ without dashing. Well, the kri-theen maybe, but they're stealthed.)
