Yeah, I'm with Burns. Why did two reds pressed do nothing but two purples did?

Something DID happen.

The Satyr holds its breath as best as it can, only taking in a whiff of the gas cloud before it dissipates, taking 1 poison damage.

Perception check from Brown Bear, and then it will be its turn.

The elk has nothing to offer as far as contemplating squares goes.

Perception : 1D20+1 = [10]+1 = 11

The bear will then move 8 squares south, seeing the elk, it will move 8 squares east (towards the elk, using dash)

I think you are looking at the wrong character Layf, you are the one already at the top so you would have to go south east to go towards the elk.

@All

I have a hectic week at work, I'll answer when I can, but if I don't have time, have the bear act like a bear:
1) attack attackers. But ignore others
2) find food (sorry thinks, elk are the only food here)
3) wander aimlessly around (random d8 for n-ne-e-se-s-sw-w-nw will do fine)

:)

The Brown Bear, catching whiff of Elk, lumbers forward and to its left, around the glowing barrier.

SVM the Gray Ooze is up! You can only sense things within the radius of the 60ft overlay I have placed on the map. This includes a humming thrum coming from the two tiles, and you have also felt the two walls vanish, and vibrations from the recent turning of the obelisk.

The ooze slides 1 space North over the teal button, not because it knows what it does or what a color is, but because it's the closest thing making a noise. Then it Dashes 3 spaces down and rolls over the other button!

The Gray Ooze schlorps along and touches the tile, feeling it begin to hum at a different pitch. At the far edge of its senses, it can pick up another spot of humming energy (the red section's green tile). It then reverses direction and prods the other tile with a gooey appendage, feeling it also shift its pitch. At the far edge of its senses in this direction, it can make out another thrum that has already been activated (the gray tile on the blue segment).

Thinks the Elk is up!

To just behind the Satyr? It'll take you 30 ft to get there, so you'd still have 20 ft.

The Elk stays close to the wall, moving around behind the Satyr to get away from the Brown Bear.

Lurks the Warhorse Skeleton, you're up!

The Warhorse skeleton looks over at the armor clanking in it's direction and hesitates, seeming to remember something from it's past. It then trots over to the armor, nuzzles it, and then kneels down, encouraging the armor to climb on.

I like how some people are getting to be sort of "We worked together before, we're good." And meanwhile my position is "You look like you need a buddy. I'm your buddy now. When you stop needing a buddy I will turn on you with no remorse. "

unfortunately, there's not a good way to force "no buddies" rules. Other than spider hurting us with the arena if we buddy up.

Some are also playing more towards the form, and others more towards the spirit animating them. I'd say either is valid, my intent is that you guys all recall what has happened in past matches, as your spirit form is entering into different creatures. A melding of that knowledge with the creature's instincts is just fine, the intent is for there to be carry over though (to allow use of what would otherwise be meta knowledge of who won, etc.).

The satyr's gonna be taking a shot at the bear and moving south 2 tiles. I'm jumping the gun a bit with my actions, but I need sleep and I don't know of anything that would interfere with my actions at this point.
