Did he..? Cuz I don't really use messenger. :P

But right, makes sense if it's a file... You could upload it to google drive or something maybe? Otherwise I'll just shoot you a pm for my mail or something if you'd rather send it through.

That wasn't my plan to become god of death, but I guess I could always take the credit for being it when people are buried this way

I'm not sure how Layf is doing this whole influence thing besides getting 1 point each update (and from devouring souls). I'm hoping that making them worship you with rituals will grant extra as well and this burial ritual will send the lost souls my way o:)
Not that the souls matter in this instance

Hopefully it's a bit like D&D where we get our own plane/domain to rule and our worshippers join us there rather than just go to one common death realm.

Just my spinkle hope to catch up with you guys

EDIT: Great job Burns, you broke the poor man!

Well, as I told you in messages LAYF, I was probably going to have a crit fail and die before any of my plans could come to fruition anyways.

So, is there anything Elore can do in her current state..? She did learn how to remove all diseases for 1 IP, which seems like it was worth a shot, but I'm not sure if it's even possible to use anything at all in her current state- Or if I will have to rely on time/ another god to help.

My investment?

Layf? Are you saying I need to spend another point? or is she "thinking it over?"

I'm not saying anything :p

You (Pan) can feel that she will react to the attempted contact, and that the contact worked.. But you do not know how she will react, mainly because she does not know yet...

So Elore is physically healed, but still mentally or spiritually damaged?

I'm sorry if I miss understood your instructions... I was referring to what you "told" the mayor...

Burns, with no offense meant, I think it's best to recognize when a subject is best left dropped...

I mean, ultimately whatever you do is up to you, but your comments did enough to do... Something to affect everyone- And like I said, neither solution is actually one that is gonna make anything better. Undead will just be a horror experience for everyone involved, and true resurrection... Even assuming best case scenario is going to be met with suspicion-If you even have enough influence to do it, which I doubt if we're being honest.

ooo..oh wait...the bad feeling...

Maybe the mayor is losing faith in us?

Based on everything that happened as of late...I think we need to "bring the good times back" to the village..

I am trying to rid the village of the river serpent, which I hope should help...but, I would advise the rest of you to perhaps try to ...make happiness happen, and restore the mayors faith in us.

That's the basic idea I got from it, yes. He was so off-put by it that he "closed" the connection. The reason we've been able to contact him with no problems is because he's been so open towards us and the one praying for assistance, but when we have people die, have it sound like we've been partly responsible rather than suck it up, and then offer to bring some back as undead (Which even if not was what was intended, was what said)... I'd beging questioning how "helpful" those gods are really supposed to be.

Also I had a sudden revelation as to why the orcs are there. They're attracted to the healers hut- "The temple". That's what the "pull" was.

...So on one hand putting sick people in there and helping them heal might gain IP...

On the other hand we might attract every sick person in a few mile radius.

When the dice decides something is bad, it's best to respect it

And yeah this round we've sounded like we're just trying to get more influence over the mayor and push away the others, I myself am guilty of that too even though I just joined

wait..wait...actually... Maybe we should let the sick come into the village...I mean..why not, this could become the focal point for the village. Too bad the mayor isn't listening anymore or we could tell him that the building is a healing miracle and that the sick will come seeking it's restorative powers and that they could gain many people and allies through it's use.

I'm attempting to make this better...if anyone wants to throw in some points to help, that would be awesome...I think we could remedy this situation as well as gain some allies (of various species), I've thrown 2 points into the pot.
