This is how I'd propose we're gonna do the "crowdfunding" thing:

I'll make a list from 1 to 12- For one point each, you can buy a "slot on the wheel". The goal is that once we have all 12 slots filled, someone will make a random d12 roll (LAYF perhaps to keep it fully neutral if he's ok with it? Otherwise we'll probably end up using coyotecode) which determines who gets the character. People that want to help donate to the cause, but not have a character, could be listed as such (and either removed from the final list or simply rerolled if landed upon)

I think that's overall the best/fairest way to do it. Objections to the idea? Cuz if not...

That's 5-7 8 points you've gathered (2 from m0rt and 2 from Gathers, 3 from spider, 1 from Asks) so you are still 5-7 4 points short of sending anyone down. The remaining players has 6 5/2 points (3 for badge, 1 for Tea,Ask and Aegis each)

I would like to attempt to use my influence points.

all 3 points - A large serpentine fish-monster (2 or 3 times bigger and many times longer than an Orc) (FreshWater-Sea Dragon) finds it's way to this area of the river and decides to live here. It violently protects the river, smashing boats and rafts that dare attempt to cross the wide river.

(While this hurts the orcs from crossing, it also prevents the humans from crossing...but I'm willing to accept that.)

So, question to the almighty GM: If this doesn't happen this round, will the points already "spoken for" in this project/idea remain there, or will they "go back" to their respective owners, since it didn't happen and the list reset?

Orkork
Orkork is the biggest orc most will ever see, a strong and confident leader, if ruthless against eneamies and even alies from time to time.
Favoring two big axes made from the jaw of some large predator, Orkork has also been known to use a huge twohanded sword and spears at times.

Oh, great, now we're gonna have a monster in our river and nothing it was supposed to defend us against...

Anyways, with another turn and another point, I'm going to be donating another point towards bringing forth an avatar. I'll be donating this point, though- Want to give a chance towards getting in myself, but for now I want to keep that chance relatively small.

Can you explain what you mean?
If you ask what beastmen are, I'll explain here;
Beastmen is creatures that in some ways are like satyrs, but bigger and more tribal... Their temper seems to run hot, but they do not tent to fight unless provoked somehow....

It is... The mayor somehow angered a beastman tribe on their way here (not this one, it's in his bio) and got himself and his caravan attacked...

The beastman these two folks allegedly encountered sounded friendly though, right? Judging by the fact they took care of them while asking for very little.

According to the riders, they were nice towards them, a bit reserved, but did what they could to nurse them back to health. but as soon as they were well, the beastmen seemed as they could not get rid of them fast enough. (eg, we helped you, now get on your way...)

I wonder if there is anything similar to tobacco in this world, a nice puff on a pipe would be a good way to bring some cheer to the people.

There are different smoking herbs, flowers, fruits nad even guano ¨thet can be smoked yes.
Is this meant as an in game question? if not, please keep ooc in the ooc, it can quickly become cluttered in the game thread, making updates harder

A quick note on deals.
If you guys, as gods, makes deals among yourself (or with mortals) consider it kind of like Hades deal with Hercules in the Disney movie.
It's binding to the letter. But you can get around it with clever wording and actions..

Of course, making deals you cannot keep at all (if you drink the water I'll give you an endless supply of gold) will carry some sort of punishment...

Does that mean I'm bound to donating those points, as soon as there are enough people pooling their points for it? I mean I was willing to spend them at that point in time (when the suggestion was made), but as the situation changes, I might want to use them for something else in that round...
