ahh, actually spider, since you know about it and we don't, you could go ahead and "anchor" yourself to earth = permanency (if I understood "anchoring" correctly)..and we couldn't stop you...

Not sure that takes a miracle or not...

spiderwrangler wrote:Ok, thanks. If you are seeking to gain less than the max, does that still take all month?

Also, will the location of the other known funnels be added to the world map? What they are useful for might depend on how far away they are.

I'm also assuming that this is my action for the month, I can't bleed any of the IP out of it?
Hmm.. I have not considered that...
But... No. I'd say gaining 1/2 energy would take 2/3rds time.
1/3 energy = 1/2 (2/4) time
1/4 energy = 2/5 time
1/5 = 1/3 (2/6)
And so on...
So it's not a one for one trade, but can be a benefit.

Yeah, sure, I'll add them to the map :)

This is your action yes, you did gain the 1 IP (effectively meaning you gained the knowledge freely)
You could empty it in this round if you wanted, gaining another 2 IP but destroying that funnel

Also when do I know if my ip that is held reserved for training healers is going to be used? Should I add "i have enough power to sponsor two apprentices if you find willing subjects" to what I say to Kayala?

Rain or mint, chance is the same and up to you :)

About the IP, when the update comes up, you'll know if any is used, and may chose to add more/withdraw any that is left...
What you say to Kayala is 100% up to you :)

And so it rained for 7 days and 7 nights and then some more, until eventually the entire countryside was flooded. Luckily, the village survived by ordering them to build a giant boat, on which they took one ms. clucky and a rooster, one river monster and misses river monster, one tunnel borrower...

as far as I understood it, only perpetual SMELL of rain was discussed. Not actual rain. ^^

But I suppose it could still provide an issue to animals and/or humanoid trying to predict the weather, if it's ALWAYS smelling of rain. *shrugs*

How about a light shower every evening and sunny during the day.

Actually...as for a miracle that would be interesting.

A time disturbance in which time within a certain bubble which includes both the town and some of the surrounding area. Time within this bubble moves at either a faster or slower pace than the rest of the world.

(Faster than the world = Crops grow faster than the world, and the population within the bubble ages slower than the rest of the world. Those within town age faster than those in the world, including having babies who grow to adulthood, etc.)
(Slower than the world = Ability to prepare for incoming disasters that effect the rest of the world before they get to the time bubble. Also the world ages faster than the town)

Oops, that does sound like he's getting married again. I meant to suggest for him to hook up some of the other townsfolk so that he can plan their wedding, but if he wants to start collecting wives... *shrug* maybe it would help bolster his ego.

To the other gods in the "bacon issue" pool,

Since it looks like everyone is settled (and waiting for me again) I'm sending LAYF the complete list of our decisions. I hope no one objects.

I've sent it on to him as well, so we should be set.

I didn't name it. Asks' predicament may or may not involve trouble with an actual piece of bacon.

Okay... Took longer to get back on sleep than I expected.

So, long story short...
Due to my work I'll only be home at weekends for the next two weeks (and for the week that just passed.)
A guy got bad case of virus so I had to fill in for him on a three weeks task with less than an hours notes.

That will include getting home 2200-2330 o clock Friday and having to go on job from around 1800 sunday...
I will have some sort of Internet, from bad to semi okayish connection during the day and evenings. But with 11 hour shifts and 4+ hours of transportation each day. I'm not sure I'll have any energy left for anything...
Heck, yesterday I was up for 4 hours, and I just got out of bed two hours ago..
There is only 5 left till I drive back (4 hour drive) to work.

So with all that said.. I may, but will not update any of my games or reply to pm...
If you guys need me, Wears and those I play on roll20 with know how to get a hold of me on messenger.

Sorry to leave you guys like this... But I will be back, if not before then in two or three weeks when my sleep-o'meter is full again....
-Best regards LAYF
