TALKING // DONE
Tea: Ask the healer to teach how to heal to others, how does she do it? who was her patron (To healer)
**IÔÇÖve only used the two mentioned actions, as this partway update may give people a reason to change their actions.
One of the gods decides to look into this healer, and how her powers work.
She learns that Kayala use some sort of divine magic. or so she thinks at least.
For some reason she hold energy much like Influence points... where she has it from you cannot say.
When she heals people she in fact uses parts of this energy, then she prays one specific prayer May the screams leave with your pain, may the gods take your wounds, for this I pray, for this I pay!"
Her energy does not seem go up again, it is a limited supply, and you do not know if she has a way to replenish it.
Another thing the god have noted is that she does not seem to interact or communicate with the "spirits" that flows around her in any way, you are not even sure if she knows they are there.
This of course makes the other gods curious, one of them decides to inform Elore on the new gained knowledge and Elore decides to talk to the healer, deal with her if needed.
As Elore shows up and gets Kayala to the side, another god also decides to talk to Kayala, asking if she could teach her powers to others, and more details than that.
Kayala, is more than willing to talk. Leading Elore into the sick house, she says
I was unsure if you were really an avatar no offence, but you do not strike me as a that powerful, but then again, I have never meet one who was not already anchored seeing Elores puzzled gaze, maybe even feeling the confusion of the gods she continues
Oh Do you not know?.. You dont do you? You and the others of your line do not know what you are? How young are you? Ten years? Five?... Younger? She says, a combination of surprise and fear in her voice.
Seeing Elore becoming more puzzled by these exclamations she draws a deep breath then continues
I guess I made a bad dessision then I hoped you were more powerfull. Then.. I guess my only chance is to show you Ill show you all that I know.. just just dont judge me to hard!
Kayala takes stick of charcoal and starts tracing her skin with the black lines, As she draw symbols on herself Elore (and the other gods) at first gets nervous, but as the symbols are completed, the gods somehow understands them they are not threatening, she is opening her mind to them! And this experience teaches them a lot, also a lot about them self.

From the experience, the gods learn:
Worshippers do give gods more power (IP) these points comes at special intervals, more often the more worshippers)
There are places where influence flow from nature, these places can be permanently blessed/cursed without the gods needing to feed it power.
Some rare mortals are gifted (Kayala is one of these) and somehow either generates or attracts natural influence, if they learn how they can perform magic.
Gods are created when extremely gifted mortal knowingly or unknowingly suppress their powers for years, then suddenly ÔÇ£wishesÔÇØ for a solution. (Such as praying to gods where no gods are) at that point, that person loses his powers, as they manifest themselves as gods, spirits or weird magical effects.
If the person that created the gods die or fully loses fate in them, the gods themselves die.
UNLESS said gods has found a way to anchor themselves to the world, an avatar is not enough.
Whenever someone dies, there are 5 possible things that can happen:
- They die in an area near the gods they worship, becoming Willing souls.
- They die in an area near gods, but donÔÇÖt worship any gods, becoming drifting souls.
- They die in an area without gods, and without worshiping any god, becoming drifting souls
- They die in an area with gods they donÔÇÖt worship, but worship other gods, they will go to their own gods as drifting souls
- They die in an area with other gods than their own who claim them, becoming forced souls.
Willing souls can be used by gods to create lasting miracles, the soul freely takes home in an object or area, the gods then create a magic effect (with IP) and the soul then generated the IP needed to keep the mirical running. OR can be exchanged for 3 IP per soul (3 IP to each of the gods)
Drifting souls can be used for the same, but may risk ÔÇ£running dryÔÇØ OR can be exchanged for 1 IP per soul (1 IP to each of the gods)
Forced souls can only be used as IP, they cannot be used to ÔÇ£powerÔÇØ things over longer time. Any forced souls will ÔÇ£dissolveÔÇØ into IP at the end of the year.
Magical creatures has souls the same way humanoids do ÔÇô animals/plants also has souls, but they are not strong enough to be used for anything. (to keep the rules simple)
Uroquzzl was one of a trio of gods, Two of who anchored themself, Uroquzzl and Araquax, Araquax is the only one still ÔÇØaliveÔÇØ and was the mentor of Kayala, he goes by the name ÔÇØKing of the deadÔÇØ
Kayala has cast a screen on herself and the area around her, hiding her and anyone within her area (3 by 3 Squares on the map, with her in the center) from Araquax.
Araquax is looking for Kayala AND the gods.
Araquax has cursed a massive area around a town to the south, if any god enters that area, Araquax will know and will be there instantly.
There are currently some souls in the gods ÔÇ£soul bankÔÇØ (new tap) they can be used by a majority vote.
After the 12th month, all the forced souls in this soul bank will dissolve and give the gods extra bonus IP. (1 for 1, divided among the gods, rounded up to nearest whole)
The gods currently have 3 ÔÇ£true worshippersÔÇØ and will all gain the bonus points according to the list below:
As Kayalas mind opens up you all see a myriad of memories, emotions and fears.
You learn that when Kayala was young, a lot of kids in her town started to die from accidents, stupid accidents, they seemed to act reckless and fearless near her.
As she grew older, the effect seemed to grow with her, when she was a teen, teens was effected, and when she became an adult, adults would suffer the effect.
Soon she was hunted as a witch, but while she knew why, she did not feel it was her fault nor fair, she never tried to do anyone anything it just happened.
She then walked around for many years, avoiding all contact, until she meet him!
A necromancer who called himself Araquax, or king of the dead. While she did not like his manipulation of the living, the dead or their souls, she was desperate to learn how to suppress the effect she had on others. And for some reason, a reason she still do not know to this day, Araquax agreed to teach her.
Araquax, in his arrogance had informed her that he was in fact, a god. A being created by the mind of someone like Kayala, but much, much stronger.
Of course, she did not believe him a god that was absurd.
But, none the less, he did teach her to control her powers
He thought her a lot about the world and how its magic worked (see spoiler above).. Most of the things she did not believe.. but still, she listened
Then a year ago she and Araquax encountered an artifact, an urn. At first Araquax had laughed at the urn, making fun of whoever its content had belonged to saying that he himself had killed his brother, Uroquzzl some hundred years ago, but to prolong his suffering, he had bound his brother to the ashes in the urn
While Araquax taunted the ashes, something happened, a ruby that he wore around his necklass suddenly started to glow, and then the light left it, as if dragged into the urn! Araquax got furious, so angry that Kayala feared for her life. Araquax ordered her to take the urn and throw it from a cliff, into the deepest lake she could find.
But Kayala disobeyed her former mentor, she took the Urn and stove it away in a fox hole, hoping to use it against Araquax later.
Bidding her time, she returned to her mentor. Started to collect knowledge on her own, to find a way to protect herself against him Still, she did not believe he was a god, only that he was powerful and ancient, and that Uroquzzl had been the same
Then something happened a voice a voice she somehow could not deny belonged to a god, called out to her She hear it and while at once relived to having found someone who maybe could help her against Araquax, she also got fearful that voice confirmed what Araquax had told her that there was indeed gods that he may indeed be one of them.
As she realized this, she hurried to cast a spell that would hide her, her and anyone, mortal or god, from his scrying and she fled but.. When she did, he felt it she does not know how but he felt the spell take effect.. And again he was furious she could feel the earth shake and the energy change as her former master destroyed a whole town in rage, and with it every soul and natural influence source around it he cursed the area he was in if any god ever set their legs there, he will know
She herself decided that she could not travel directly to Our town, so from the town in the south, she tracked first east, then far north, then west and then south again until she found Our town She had hoped to find strong gods here now.. she fears the future and the day that Araquax does find her and the town
In regards to her healing, you find that she can indeed heal people, also without harming anyone it was simply a way to spot any Avatar.. She had been looking for whoever received the wound, but had for some reason not considered the Elf a possible target, she was looking for a magican like Araquax and Uroquzzl had been.
And with that info. You may all change your actions/suggestions if you wish.
