That lizardfolk feels so sorry for what he did and fears the anger of the gods might strike him if he doesn't make sure I make it there alive!

Korrik
► Show Spoiler
Korrik feels a momentary stab of fear in his gut as he tries to calm his mind and breathi- oh. Yeah, that's not going to work.
The water rushes by in the dizzying twists and turns of the dark tunnels, and Korrik's lungs burn as he clings onto the last molecules of oxygen in his chest.
((Any actions?))
Merric
► Show Spoiler
Merric feels the lizardfolk flinch, and the water rushing past him begins to slow and grunts. With a long growl that sounds a LOT like a sigh of frustration, the creature kicks upwards, hard and Merric is thrust suddenly up through the water's surface again and into dazzling sunlight and bright, delicious air. The hand over his face is released, and he fills his lungs. The lizardfolk surfaces next to him, watching him closely with its dark green eyes, and keeping a firm hand on Merric's arm. The surroundings are tall grass and water and there is no sign of the others or the canoe. The lizardfolk grunts and holds up three clawed fingers then points downwards.
It gestures: 1... 2... 3.
And Merric is once again grabbed closely into the creature's side and pulled back underwater as the clawed hand is clamped uncomfortably back over his face. Merric feels considerably better with a lungful of air this time at least.
((Any actions for the surface or re-start of your underwater journey?))

Merric will eye the lizardfolk with a smile, looking for a good spot to hold on to him. He'll send the image of it and try grab him as tightly as possible and do his best as to not obstruct his swimming.

Merric
► Show Spoiler
The lizardfolk flinches slightly as it is mentally shown images of its own body parts, and you feel it kick forward even faster than before. Suddenly, the creature twists sideways, plunging left and down into darkness, then twisting right, or maybe left again? It's extremely disorienting but Merric is tightly held and holding just a tight to the creature as it swirls through the water. Hard tendrils or sticks from somewhere whip painfully against his face as they race onwards, and every so often his feet are thrown into the bottom or sides of what feel like a fairly small tunnel. His lungs begin to ache uncomfortably for fresh air...

Just sticking to the lizardman, enjoying the depth of the water. The surrounding stuff, not so much.

Lizard Group
Korrik:
► Show Spoiler
Korrik grabs at the lizardfolk's arms, trying to frantically free himself from its grip as a bubble of air escapes his tortured lungs. He feels his "handler" growling behind his back, as a massive clawed hand clamps over his mouth and nose. Fear takes over and he fights. A dirt wall slams into his body, and then there is nothing.
The Rest of the Group
Just as Kal feels his lungs straining under the stress of the long trip, he breaks the surface. His handler releases its grip on his face and he inhales a deep, precious breath of air. Artho surfaces next, looking grateful to be out of the water, if not desperate for air. Merric is the third to surface, gasping for breath. Swamp water, it seems, is quite different to salt water.
The fourth lizardfolk to surface barks rapidly in Draconic and swims to the edge of what you all now realise is a circular pool, lying inside an open, round cavern. Water and sunlight and rain down the natural stone chimney from far above you, casting dim light on your immediate surroundings. Around the pool on all sides is a shallow, sloping beach, apparently covered in plant debris and mud. The "beach", such that it is, is enough to get you out of the pool, but it offers precious little space otherwise and is certainly not drier.
Of more immediate concern is the realisation that the last lizardfolk to arrive is carrying the limp and apparently lifeless body of Korrik Tallpine quickly to the shore. The other lizardfolk follow quickly behind, and Kal hears the lead one bark:
"Too little! Didn't last!"

Kal rushes to check on Korrik and do what he can to heal him.

Kal immediately swims to shore, far outpaced by the lizardfolk, but still crossing the distance in short order. When he reaches the shore, he is just in time to see Korrik, lips tinged blue and lying flat on his back, being thumped hard in the chest by one of the lizardfolk. Another hisses in draconic:
"Careful! They're more fragile than new hatchlings!"
"I know! I remember!"
Korrik begins to cough, and the colour returns to his face. He is still unconscious, but seems to be stable.
The four lizardfolk stand up and move aside to make room for Kal.
((How would Kal like to heal Korrik?))

Because it might get lost in the shuffle soon, Syli is up for team Druid.

Kal will use 4hp of his remaining lay hands pool. (And if someone could update the sheet for me, I'd appreciate it.)

Kal kneels down and a pale light emanates from his hands to Korrik, who groans and coughs some more as he is dragged back to consciousness while the four lizardfolk watch in curiosity and shuffle uncertainly, muttering quietly to each other.
As Kal finishes his spell, one of the four steps towards him, standing a full foot taller than him and holding out a waterproof pack as the other three slip back into the water and swim slowly towards the centre of the pool again. It speaks in draconic:
"Rest and eat here. You will be seen at sunset."
((Korrik is now at 4HP))

"*Kagh*...*cougg*... Owww. Thanks, Kal.", I mutter weakly, lying back down again.
"I'm just gonna rest here until the room stops trying to move."

Merric will make a an almost inaudible comment that this explains why Korrik didn't receive the true gods blessing but otherwise be fine lazing around for the rest of the day, doing his ritual at the end of the day. He'll smile at the lizardfolks, especially those who he send telepathic messages to.

I smile and pat Kal's hand gratefully.
"Sorry to cause a fuss. Are they coming back right away? I could use a nap."
((If we're being left for long enough before being led somewhere else, I'd like to take a short rest and roll some HD. If it's getting late in the day and we're taking a long rest, I'll do that instead. Just would prefer to have more HP than I can count on my fingers...))

"We're to rest here. They'll be back for us at sunset to bring us before the elders. I'll have words for them. For now, I'm just glad you're alive."
