Dornikal gives eel-head another swing (one SW of him).
"Aye'll send ye all back to yer god by DUMATHOIN!"
Attacking eelhead : 1D20+6 = [12]+6 = 18
1D6+4+2+1D6+2 = [6]+4+2+[1]+2 = 15

Re: The Sundered Way
Holger bellows "ढाल". It sounds real wet and sloppy as he slurps at saliva afterward. He keeps a hand over his mouth to hide his naked gums.
All punches and tentacles rebound off of his shield, as faint harp music
Turn Order:
Dornikal (49/56)
Holger (22/33) (Conc: Hex: 1 hour; Rounds of Chaos Remaining: 1; rounds of 20 ft teleport remaining: 9; rounds of target on his back remaining: 4; fog cloud: 1 hour; Can only shout: 9; surrounded by faint ethereal music: 10)
Pincers-through-the-portal
Squad A (gnome mounts) (Readied Attacks)
Squad C
Squad B
Randerwaith (21/37)
Eel-head
Anemone-neck
Squid-hand
Octo-shoulders
Coljin (32/32) <--------------------<<<
Squad E
Squad F
Anders
Squad D
Ulmwin (37/37)
Tentacles-through-the-portal
The washroom has windows set up high, you could probably wiggle your way through them if you needed to, but it wouldn't be easy or comfortable to get up to them or get them open.

Re: The Sundered Way
Well, looks like she needs to find a key if she's going into that other room... Pausing for a moment, she sends Ily back downstairs and outside, instructing him to let her know (telepathically) when he is in a position where he can see the washroom window. She closes the washroom door behind her as he leaves.
Assuming all of that works out ok, shell look thru his eyes to scan the outside of the building for alternative access to that locked room. Let me know what rolls you need
(The washroom has a lock on the inside of the door, I assume?)

Re: The Sundered Way
It doesn't have a means of locking or unlocking from the hallway, but has a simple swinging latch so someone desiring privacy could ensure it from within. The latch isn't enough to keep out anyone determined, but would be enough to keep someone casually attempting to enter from doing so if it was being used.
Ily pads down the stairs and out through the window you gained entrance to, eventually letting you know he's in position out on the back yard.

Nem latches the door and switches her attention to him.
She's looking for a window or some sort of access to the locked room, that either Ily or her could use.

Yeah, there are two windows to that room, but given that they are on the second floor, not terribly easy to access.

The bell tolls for the remaining sea monster in the room, and it thrashes its tentacles unhappily about the whole situation.
A few guards rush past to take up position on the far side of the portal, Anders holds his longsword at the ready.

Nem recalls Ily to the bathroom and heads towards the bedroom, quietly turning the handle and letting the door swing open (unless it's locked).

Re: The Sundered Way
You see a bed with a sleeping form on it, a nightstand beside it with a book and an unlit lamp, and a large, well made desk on the other side of the room. The only things visible on the desk are some neatly arranged pens, an inkpot, and the materials for putting a wax stamp or seal on a letter. There are five drawers on the desk though, two to each side, and one in the middle.

Nem quietly steps over to the desk, pulls a candle from her pocket and presses the seal into the wax to leave a mark. She checks the desk drawers first.

Prestidigitation allows me to warm non-living material (it's presumably intended for heating food) - would that be enough to heat the wax on the candle enough to soften it?

She'll start with the left-bottom drawer.

The bottom left drawer has as series of leather folders stacked vertically in it, each folder containing loose sheets of paper filed and labeled precisely. A cursory glance reveals many names, each file seems to be about a person or business?

Nem is looking for information regarding the out-of-town contacts who were hired to murder the wizard lady, but doesn't know enough about them to spend all night reading through everything. The mayor is probs in all the files since P works for the guy soooooo.... She'll look for info relating to the Serenity mages.

She has a quick flick through the file to get a gist of what it is, then stuffs it inside inside her clothes to read later.
Closing the drawer quietly, she tries the middle one...
SoH: 1D20+6 = [2]+6 = 8
And stops as it creaks, holding her breath...

It seems to have reports on known members within the city, and varying amounts of information about them, from field of study to family, to vices. Known sales and transactions on the part of the guild are also detailed.
