Avoiding fire dodge (with spidy sense active): 2D20.HIGH(1)+3 = [8, 14]+3 = 17


Tren takes her shot.

Tren held crossbow attack: 2D20.LOW(1)+4 = [9, 7]+4 = 11
1D8+2 = [6]+2 = 8

Crossbow attack: 1D20+4 = [4]+4 = 8

Retainers ranged attack at disadvantage: 2D20.LOW(1)+6 = [2, 1]+6 = 7


The dragonborn will move closer so that next attack will not be at long range.

Dornikal drops into a rage on getting burnt and charges up behind the fleeing critter and proceeds to hack at it with reckless abandon.

Tren will take a shot with her crossbow and Galt will move up to be in range for a normal javelin throw.

Dornikal reckless attacking twice with damage: 2D20.HIGH(1)+7 = [8, 2]+7 = 15
1D8+4+2+1D6+2 = [7]+4+2+[3]+2 = 18
2D20.HIGH(1)+7 = [1, 9]+7 = 16
1D8+4+2+1D6+2 = [4]+4+2 = 10


Tren crossbow; Galt javelin: 1D20+4 = [18]+4 = 22
1D8+2 = [6]+2 = 8
1D20+5 = [11]+5 = 16
1D6+3 = [5]+3 = 8

Zokk shidders at the sight of fire and troes thier best to stay calm. They go up to the fire beast, attack and then retreat south.

Tree kick: 1D20+1D4+7 = [15]+[4]+7 = 26
1D6+4 = [4]+4 = 8
1D20+1D4+7 = [12]+[4]+7 = 23
1D6+4 = [5]+4 = 9
1D20+1D4+7 = [9]+[1]+7 = 17
1D6+4 = [3]+4 = 7



The crew comes closer within range and attacks

Dragon squad: 4D6+8 = [6, 3, 5, 4]+8 = 26

Dornikal and Galt just barely land their hits, Tren easily sniping it, but the half-orc's javelin is enough to put the creature skidding to the sand, before Zokk needs to get involved.

The more perceptive among you hear the swish of sand being disturbed and a clattering clicking coming from both the entrance to the mine and from the west. You don't have visual on any of them at the moment, so have a bit of time to do something before they arrive.
