Ulmwin keeps his crossbow at the ready.

Maji moves over and only partially hides behind a rock.


Szartha tenderly sits up and takes up dagger Tess (maybe?) set down and cuts his legs free.

Zephyr struggles, and while she doesn't get any more free, at least doesn't wedge herself deeper.

Holger starts climbing, relying on Coljin to soon make it to the top. It goes... not as well as it could, but he's still on the rope. ((Only first roll from you applies here, Coljin had 2 to bring your party up to time with others.))

Then he just sits up and takes stock of his surroundings and tries to give you a better angle with the picks.

Coljin hauls himself the rest of the way up. It's a jumble of protruding rock, sharp edges blunted by wind blowing sand at least. He doesn't have visual on Tess and the prisoners... or even Zephyr, oddly... but to head in the direction they should be would be winding through difficult terrain.

The orc with the shield shouts back to Randy.

Faint echoes of alarm horns sound from within the mine.

Dornikal shakily gets to his feet, sending the insects that drawn to him flying away, the crusted blood and honey pulling painfully at his wounds and sunburnt skin as he totters to Tren, cutting her legs free. A glance at Talish fills him with worry. There's a lot of blood and she's not moved, even in response to the insects crawling on her face, flies dabbing at the corners of her mouth and eyes, as well as feeding on spilled blood that hasn't yet fully dried in the rapidly warming morning air.

((A proper medicine check would take your action to do, which you've already used to cut Tren's legs free. You'd also have heard Yertak's taunt and recognized the voice... I suppose if that would drastically change your actions, let me know and we'll redact getting Tren free.))

On her turn, Nem will retrieve her lockpick and try to free the dragonborn again.

Dornikal doesn't know what is going on below but suspects it is a sign to hurry.

"Look at us. We ain't even got a scrap of clothing. How far do ye think we will make it? Either we beat'm or, by Dumathoin, we die."

He glances at Szartha,

Tess scoops her pick as she chats hurriedly with Dornikal. It doesn't quite go, but she thinks she's got an idea of how to open it. Much more sophisticated than anything that would be of Orcish construction.

((Somewhat assuming Ulmwin stays readied, but will also take action for Maji.))

Ulmwin keeps crossbow ready, listening for some sort of signal, while Maji inexpertly tries to stealth closer. He's run out of cover, however, and is painfully obvious as he tries to shuffle along.

Szartha and Tren try to get their bearings as they wait to be fully let loose.
