(It's still holger wasting magic, so Maji will still write to him.)

Re: The Sundered Way
In that case Holger will create illusionary letters to flow in front of Maji
Because I can!
Holger will try to get a grasp on Randy's supposed poker face before moving past him towards Tess. He'll inaudibly sigh at Randy while Tess keeps teasing.
"Will try not to. Had hoped I could get something else out of him than I'm troubled and the gods have grave demands of me. Even just a lecture of you aren't to be bought or sold would have been preferable.."

Nem laughs again and walks back to the carts with Holger.
"Never in my life have I met someone as serious as him! But he IS a good man. I'm sure he'd tell you what you wanted to know if you just asked him, you know."

Re: The Sundered Way
Randy waves a farewell to Eravin Tarfellion and company, wishing him a safe journey. He then heads up front to take up a scouting position again, stowing his lantern along the way.
perception: 1D20+3 = [17]+3 = 20
He's paying a little more attention to his job this time. He is patiently waiting for the rest of the group to get underway again.

Coljin is ready to go, he is tired of walking though, so he hops up on the passenger seat of the main wagon.

Forgot an insight roll before: 1D20+3 = [12]+3 = 15
"I know he has the heart in the right place, but his mind seem so rigid that it might just snap for him if the "gods" continue to interfere. But I'm not sure what else there is to know beyond his gate task or what that was."

Dornikal wishes the caravan luck and Dumathoin's blessing as it rolls by before going back on watch as they get headed on.

Maji throws up his arms, motioning to the lettering. He gives a heavy sigh and writes to Holger. You are an idiot.

"Are you sure you want to move on already..? At least not wait until you can restock on water..? If you're gonna push onwards, do be ready for battle against those things- They're clever little bastards, they're gonna try and split your attention apart... Always stick in groups of two, prepare your spell and silvered weapons... Nothing else will work."

Re: The Sundered Way
Holger lets the letters bounce around changing in the chaos to write something new for Maji to read.
Or a genius you haven't recognised!
To Tess.
You never know, they might use those exact berries in secret religious rituals hence he's sure it was divine intervention since he got high outside the church. We might have missed out of some great times skipping past churches here and there!"

To Holger:
Nem shivers, and her smile vanishes for a moment before she grins at him again.
"I guess we'll never know. Come on Rusty, come on Bramble! Off we go."
Been hope up into the driver's seat and flicks the reins.
On to the next well, I guess.

Re: The Sundered Way
"Hopefully not, I imagine the line between celebration and sacrifice preparation is razor thin at those gatherings. Oh and I wasn't just proding Randy's temper during all that. I do have the scrolls right here."
Holger will find the scrolls in his bag and hand them over to Tess.
"I imagine the witch bolt scroll will be the most useful to you. It creates a steady stream of energy harming your target as long as you maintain concentration. The other is mage armor which you'll only find useful if you loose your armor."
Holger is ready to get away from that pompous fool, right after scanning him and the rest of the caravan over with detect magic

"Yay!"
Nem gives Holger a hug and kiss in thanks, and hands him the reins while she looks the scrolls over.
"Yes, these make sense... I'll need some time to copy them, but it should be really useful love, thanks!"

By this point, the pain was not so annoying as it was a reminder that a drawn blade meant shed blood. She mused over this as she cleaned and sharpened the blade. As she worked, she led her mind through a number of exercises on how to use her bonded weapon better, in such a way as to surprise the enemy.

Once everyone is settled, Randy will start down the trail to the next well, watching for any threats. He'll stay roughly 50 feet in front of the wagons.
