Nem's smile strains somewhat.

"That ship sailed a long time ago love. I have no interest in it."

Randy gives Tess a wink. "On the other hand, Dornikal, the All Mother doesn't seem to mind dual citizenship. Seemed rather eager in fact."

"She seems a bit pushy an' ye know aye don't accept her history. Dumathoin ain't against accepting those with others in their hearts, in the end his Hall is open to those that accept'm."

((Not sure if Dornikal would notice Tess attitude change, he is a zealot after all.))

Nem excuses herself from the conversation entirely and goes to distract herself by studying the enchantment on the tea tray.

"I've had no dealings with dragonborn in the desert, sorry."

As Tess seems to show an interest, the tea tray lifts up towards her. As she reaches out with the intention of taking the handles to gently return it to the table, she grasps a pair of invisible hands.

Meanwhile the dwarf heads over to the sphere inset in the wall, pulling out a wand that he traces various patterns across its surface. After a few moments he steps back. "Alright, that'll send yeh back outside. Probably best a face they know goes first?"

"Oh!" I'm sorry, I wasnt expecting... well that's just fascinating..."

She turns her attention to the enchantment on the invisible hands holding the tray.

Randy gives Dornikal a lopsided grin. " She CAN be VERY persuasive. " He chuckles. " But, I'll admit, the knowledge gained is the type to either get you promoted to the priesthood's inner circle or burned as a heretic, just to keep it secret. There is some truth to the saying 'ignorance is bliss' . So far Obad-Hai hasn't objected. At least, not that I'm aware off. And he's not the type to take it out on a follower who was hijacked. He'd probably go and complain directly..... not that there'd be much he could do about it." he finishes in a mutter.

"Aye'd hope the gods aren't as petty as we are but aye know better'n that."

To the elder dwarf,

"Send me back then...or do I knock again?" He goes to where he entered the room and looks for a way out, if he finds something obvious (like another knocker) he uses that.

The invisible hands seem to be attached to invisible arms...

Barring any sort of ghostly presence, it seems that "Fergus" is a summoned entity, from spells you've heard of, unseen servant seems most likely.

"Just make sure anyone going with yeh is inside the circle on the floor, then place yer hand on the sphere."

As Dornikal touches the sphere, the silver bubble surrounds him, halting at the inscribed circle. When it retracts, he's gone.

Dornikal, the cool of the predawn desert hits you as you get your bearings, finding yourself standing at the front door, tower to your back.

Szartha and Galt hurry over as you step away from the door.

"Everything alright? Saw Holger's signal, where are the others?"

Dornikal gives a nod to the pair,

"Aye, things are fine enough. There's a dwarf wizard in there that's got a job for us. Least some of us. Wants us to recover something he's lost. In exchange he'll send us and the caravan direct to Estmont. Ye should probably talk to'm Szartha but aye think he's on the level. Aye've volunteered as it will keep the caravan the safest...An even if we fail he likely send ye and the caravan back."

Dornikal turns and looks at the tower,

"He's offered to let us, an the wagons, spend the night inside out of the heat.

"What are yeh getting all huffy about? What do yeh mean, 'told yeh no'?"

"Oh! Well, that would certainly ease the crossing! How do we do that? The wagons look a fair bit bigger than his door."

"Uh...good question. He said there was room in the lower levels..."

He will yell at the tower in Dwarven,

"How do we get the wagons in elder? We don't see any doors!"

"I did. And yeh didn't. Why yeh giving me that sour milk look?"

"If ye're quite done pouting, I propose we all head down. Fergus! Tidy things up and see that any books get put back. Fiona, where's my hat? Fiona!"

A smallish brown owl drifts down from wherever it was perched above, silently landing on Kreldoran's shoulder, a grey knit cap clutched it her talons. The dwarf takes it and jams it on his head, containing his crown of wispy white hair.

"Alright, three or four at a time, everyone else stay clear."

Ily gives a satisfied 'huff".

The dwarf is getting visibly irritated. "Well... yes. I hadn't had a chance to talk to yeh yet, much less re-key the portal sphere to take yeh back outside. If yeh all pissy about it, I can change it back and yeh can clap yer great big mitt on it and see what happens to yeh. Would that make yeh feel better about things? If yeh got simultaneously transported out and back into the same spot. Might put yeh back together in interesting ways... maybe see if yeh can druid yer way out of that, eh boy? OR if yer done pissing and moaning, we can get on with things?"

Randy mutters to Maj " ' Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger.' If he can summon a freaking castle to the middle of a desert, he's no light weight in the wizard world, and it would be prudent not to tic him off."
