Is this like a scaraby/cockroachy sort of buzzing hiss?

More of a "the local snakes picked up on your curse and want to share their venom with you" sort of hiss.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
So if the swarm is resistant to physical damage and Spider rounds up ½ damage, Renny would have killed equally many snakes with his ladle as Ulmwin or Randy did with their real weapons..
I'm not sure how I feel about that though

I keep telling you, don't underestimate Renny. We're gonna end up restoring his mind and memory, he's gonna become the BBEG, and we'll have a whole dramatic moment where he gives us a chance to either join him as thanks for helping him in the past, or be destroyed...

Hmmm....
Spider, I've doing some thinking on character development. I'm thinking about having Randy take a few levels in Rogue before going on to Shadow Monk. There's some real potential there for mischief. Particularly in long term projects.

Sure. If you'd like to start RPing towards that end, Tess may be able to help.

Aw! That is a cute adorable baby danger noodle~ I think my favourite type of danger noodle is the hognose, it has a cute little nose and when it gets defensive it tries to hood up to make it look bigger and sometimes plays dead.
Also a video of baby sneks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1stIv4selIc&t=867s

Randomly remembered I forgot to answer this, but Holger had charm person last warlock level, but I changed it for hex since I don't really want to use it with the penalty that the people will know you used magic on them afterwards. Also it's limited to what can be targeted with a similar spell at a higher level lets you charm all kind of creatures, whereas this only target humanoids.Lurks_In_Shadows wrote: ↑Fri Nov 23, 2018 5:33 pm Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be as easy as walking up to them and charming them with Randy's winning personality. I suppose if Holger actually wanted to use Charm on them, he might be able to pull it off. ((Does Holger even know that spell?))

Dornikal's feeling on this is that the contract isn't done until Szartha is delivered someplace safe. Especially since he considers it an act honoring those that died doing the same job, many who were his friends. That Galt and Tren are staying on makes it easier for him to go after as well.spiderwrangler wrote: ↑Mon Dec 10, 2018 1:53 pm ((Szartha's not really made plans known. He's promised you three pay for your time once funds are in hand, but is not making any claims on your time or loyalty beyond that. Since your intent originally was short term work, he's anticipating that you'll be leaving his employ once paid. Tren and Galt are multi year employees, and have indicated an intent to stay on, whatever that means.))
The group has been friendly to Dornikal but they haven't invited him on... whatever it is there are currently doing? Figuring out what happened to the Lady of Estmont?

Right now, we're just going to Estmont and chasing squirrels along the way no plans beyond that right now except maybe trying to not be cursed any more...

If the group heads north Dornikal will probably follow along since home seems to be calling...
Dornikal also wants to avoid the whole being taken a slave again, so in that regard he and Tess are on the same page. I would guess the rest of the merchant group would agree and sympathize with Tess in that regard.

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Randy is probably the only one with any long term objectives: 1) Find and secure the Gate of the Planes 2) See justice done on Gorlock. Otherwise his mandate from the temple is pretty open ended (as long as they get a piece of the action ).

Re: The Sundered Way - OOC
Ulmwin has a long term plan, too! It's just a lot more broad:
1: Never ever return to the Northern baronies and don't ever talk about what happened there.
