Goblin Diggers - Turn 11

And so the game begins!

Each player can Dig!
(Directions to make it easy: North: Up, North-West: Up-Left, North-East: Up-Right, South: Down, South-West: Down-Left, South-East: Down-Right)

Two Traders arrive to the side, hearing about these new shafts opening.

Bronk, the Gnome Jeweler would gladly buy some Amethyst.
Nightstalk, the werewolf would gladly buy some Silver.

Diggersby begins by digging to the North West.
My game:
Hunters of Letrua; Character list
Also Player / Monster stats, skill lists.

My characters:
Tugs Tails, the goblin that was sort of a trapper and wears a bear's tail at his neck, for some reason - Lair of the Mountain King (Run by Thinks)
Alex Sparo, A city boy, poor of sight, who has learned to manipulate people and make the most of what he, and others, have - Trinity Isles (Run by Mort)
Mehriv Turajin, a Noble Dragonborn Sorcerer sent from his clan because he wasn't dragony enough. - The Wandering Archipelago (Run by Thinks)

Hates Choosing digges south-east for the amethyst. south for the ruby.
(next round he'll also move there)

edit: re-read the rules, thus changed my desired digging, as I can use my hate stuff better than non-love/hate stuff...

Turn 1

Diggersby mines the silver on the NW, and manages to pierce out an amount of 1.
Choked on coal (yellow) mines the coal on south and manages to collect 2.
Dislikes Choosing mines the ruby, managing to get 2 pieces.
Throws Hats goes for the gold, successfully extracting 3.

As there hasn't been enough resource mined for the traders (and I assume you won't want to trade with each other just yet), the first turn begins!

MOVE, DIG!

A new Trader arrives to the bunch, Lady Margaret, a noble. She would like to get some Ruby.

COMMENT 1:
Also, as said in the rules I'm rolling for your success a d6 / 2 rounded up (= d3), so you get a random amount of 1-3. If you want to roll for yourself, we could set up an online roller and you can link it to your next roll. :)

COMMENT 2:
The "pure black" coal tile Chokes mined was actually an art error that slipped through. Coal is supposed to be that really dark grey that is still next to him. I double checked the art on the full map, and the color is consistent otherwise.

Turn 2

Diggersby moves northwest, and digs the sapphire, he obtains 2 pieces.
Choked on coal (yellow) moves down and keeps mining the coal, this time finding only 1.
Dislikes Choosing moves south, and mines yet 1 piece of ruby.
Throws Hats moves north and digs the iron on the north-east. He obtains 1.

Skipping the trade phase since there aren't enough resources yet.

A new trader arrives, Olof the smith, who would gladly buy some iron.

Comment 1: You guys found a new mechanism, miner's luck! Check out the spoiler tag for details!
Comment 2: That big grey stone is supposed to be a boulder. It takes 3 dig action to chip it down, so it's easier to go around if you want resources too. Yes, it's the same kind of boulder you can put down by the HATE card #3

Diggersby moves northwest, and digs the sapphire again, getting 3 pieces this time.
Throws Hats moves northeast and digs the amethyst below. He obtains 3.
Dislikes Choosing moves southwest, and mines 2 pieces of ruby.
Choked on coal (yellow) moves northeast and extracts 2 coal.

Trading is available now!
Once done buying/selling stuff, feel free to post next turn's action. If you happen to buy cards I'll pm the results to you tomorrow. In case you want to use those cards immediately you can edit the action again.

The last trader arrives, Knargh, the green dragon, who would gladly buy some emerald.

Using a card is a public action, and happens before moving and digging. Since I know everyone's cards, I can always verify the action.

Also, since it happens before moving and digging, the other players can react to it. (Say if you block someone's path with a boulder, he can change his intended action to target another tile instead.) The card player, however, can't change this action after announcing it.

I'd prefer that when a player changes their action, they should post it in a new post, so actions, reactions, and counter-actions can be read nicely after each other and without having to jump back-and-forth between posts. :)

I assume Theis2 doesn't want to use the card yet, so let's go!

Turn 2 events (reminder)

Choked on coal (yellow) trades in for a HATE card.
Dislikes Choosing trades in for 2 VP.
Throws Hats trades in for 1 VP.

Turn 3

Diggersby moves north, and digs some fancy coal. He finds 2.
Choked on coal (yellow) turns around and digs out 3 emeralds.
Dislikes Choosing moves southwest, and mines 1 piece of silver from northwest.
Throws Hats turns towards north-east, and digs 3 gold again.

Noone has enough resources to trade with the NPCs, so feel free to post for next turn.
