I think maybe we should fight something. It's not wise to leave hostiles unchecked for too long, especially if they might gain power over time.

I agree, but we need to come to a consensus where we will direct our unbridled rage first. Personally, I think we should just head back and continue on our main quest now we've done what appears to be the important stuff here. But it's either that, or we head right and blast that ghost with every spell we got, and hope he's got some phat loot behind him.

Actually, the fellow looked somewhat royal didn't he..? Maybe we actually do need to beat him to obtain an actual "obviously not cursed crown" tm?

And clearly the best roll is a total of 42, achievable only when you have previously obtained the mutations of Greater Luck and Lesser Misfortune, which grant +4, -2.

You could, but then the bonus/(Er, whatever the opposite of bonus is. Debit or whatever. Sunob.) wouldn't glue together to make 42.

Is it 20 different effects and you pick the best/funniest of the two or are there 39 different effects? (Or just the average?)

Speaking purely hypothetically, if Burned decided to join the others in a toast of cursed water that is probably more likely to do more harm than good, would I need to use the roll I made just for funsies, and if so, how bad can it potentially be?

I'm not going to instakill you or remove player agency based on a dice roll if that's what you're asking there are possible negative and positive effects and some neutral ones. You might not like the effects, but you should be able to live with / through all of them.

You can roll again if you want, but it honestly makes no difference. My list isn't conventionally ordered.

Oooor maybe you could have Burned drink for Burns, if you want an alternative roll? That was a... 6 and 14.

I'll just trust Thinks on that the effects are mostly truly random and will just demand a refund if Burned does not end up with god powers...

So burned has the power of levitation... But no means to actually control it to go anywhere.
